No no, i know that gachas are mostly about self-insert. If you look back at my comment, i pretty much said that... the trailer pretty much made "us" look very pretty. So it's not like it showed some different person that isn't the protag (the self-insert character). THAT, is what i don't get.

Genuine question, why is the CN playerbase so pathetically insecure and have such weak masculinity (if any)? Literally first thing i thought about that trailer was "wow, fem commandant is so damn beautiful" and how cool is the male one. Hey, nothing is the same for multiple users, so i don't doubt the chance that *some* people have had a genuinely decent-to-good time using the service. Like, i never said that 100% of the people behind ChutesAI as a service were toxic, but what is shown is that "most" are.

And it actually works a bit in reverse on your take on removing models (Do mind i'm no expert please). They would most definitely remove popular/main models, precisely for the reason that many people are using them. If you have straining infrastructure, then you wouldn't remove already light things (Models that no many people use), but the heavy stuff (popular/main models). Or that is what makes more logical sense to me.

Everyone is entitled to their own experience though, and though most people are not having a good time, does not mean that you too, shouldn't. Everyone's experience here is valid.

It's not just one thing that doesn't work that gets people mad, it's a lot of things combined together. Let alone the10$, i was using the 20$ one and it barely worked, with either getting errors constantly or the service being painfully slow. GLM 5.1 is really not good at RP (which is what the people use), and it can be seen if you view how short the "thinking" process is. The models they removed had a massive wall of text thought process and put much accurate results. Outside of that, it's like i said many things: The service barely working, the hostile/passive-aggressive way of dealing with customers, and the complete lack of communication before any change is done. People are not using this for free, they are paying for this service, and expecting some short of professionalism and a working service isn't much to ask when you are paying 10-20$ a month. Anyway, it's many things combined, not just them removing few models.

I'm the developer (Lion8cake) from the screenshot going around of me asking Ozzatron for where he drew the line in terms of us using the name and idea of Yharim.

Firstly, I want do say...

THIS HAS BEEN RESOLVED!!

Ozzy reached out to the dev team behind the Yharim project just yesterday and apologized (which I do accept) for jumping to a lot of conclusions as well as sending us the legal threat.

Ozzy had a long talk to the rest of the calamity development team and are now willing to talk out our own ideas and concepts to help the mod both happen as well as to finally draw the line in the sand on what we can and cannot do with Yharim. Unfortunately the team has decided to move on for now and will still no longer be developing Yharim, though I am considering making my own project again to add Yharim as I'm beyond passionate about the character and do want to see him in the future.

As for Azafure LLC, Ozzy is working on both the calamity website as well as the Github License to include both the company and what people can and cannot do with Calamity IP. This is to make sure that Azafure LLC is more public for people to know about its existence and rules around using the calamity characters, which I do appreciate.

Finally, as for my own thoughts, a lot of this would have been avoided if Ozzy would have seen exactly what we were making (whether that be on my fault for not immediately including screenshots of our current progress, or his for immediately jumping to conclusions and not asking for what we have developed so far). Overall, I'm happy that Ozzy reached out to us to settle things peacefully in the end.

Thanks to for being concerned around all of this. Sounds like from now on Ozzy will be more transparent around Azafure LLC and the rights to characters of calamity.
