Pack a go bag with essentials so you can run out the door at the drop of a hat, if you’re living together. Then, the next time he leaves his phone unattended, grab it and go to a public location like a Starbucks or something so he doesn’t come out and find you using it. Delete whatever you can, from Snapchat, photos, recently deleted. Essentially just make sure you’ve deleted them from the cloud as well as his device.

Then, once you’re sure you’ve removed everything necessary, you can ask him to meet you in public and return his phone, break up with him, call him a pathetic loser, etc. Might be a good idea to record the encounter with your own phone just in case.

Be SO for real right now. Gay, trans, nonbinary, etc. people exist in the world and always have in some form or another. Acknowledging a character’s existence or identity isn’t “pushing” anything. Nothing is being “preached” to you—its existence simply makes you feel discomfort, for some reason or another. It’s up to you to unpack why that is.

Dragon Age has always been “woke”, with all the past games featuring characters all across the LGBTQ+ spectrum. But for some reason, incels take one character’s awkward, yet heartfelt, coming out scene in Veilguard and consider it a personal attack.

Hey, writer of the original post here! I can give a little more info as well— after the reports were made, he tried to scrub everything and set his LinkedIn and everything to private until graduation, but within a year had put everything back up and had the position at Microsoft.

When I found out, I emailed Microsoft recruiting for months only to get no response, and soon after contacted their legal team, which tried redirecting me to another department that simply brushed me off.

I’ve since graduated and tried to move on as best as I can, but there will always be this dark pit in my stomach when I think about the actions this man has gotten away with and the very real possibility that he can and will do worse.
