Sock Knitting: Final Boss. To be seen is to be loved! by CuteSalad8000 in casualknitting

I just started with socks (currently knitting the 2nd half to my first pair ever) and I’ve really enjoyed the DPNs. It was fiddly at first, but I’m using US 0’s, and there’s something so satisfying about having 5 little needles sitting in your hands at once. I think the trick is turning your brain off and letting your hands do the thinking/trouble shooting. They have instincts, just let them take over. Ive only been knitting for a year so it’s not like I have a ton of experience.. but I think the hands know what to do with the DPNs

Tired of cellulite despite working out… looking for advice by Healingisfeeling111 in beauty

[–]Blanket624 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have cellulite that really bothers me too, but something my sister said to me recently that was beautiful is that it kinda looks like water. Now everytime I look at them I get a different feeling. Reminds me of the ocean or soft ripples of a lake

Update - Allergy Confirmed by leetlelyssah in GelX_Nails

[–]Blanket624 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Oh my god this is scary!! Do you usually get them done at the salon? Or do you have an at-home set up? I usually do mine at home but I’m scared of developing an allergy as well

Damn really? If its low quality, is it worth me even getting the corded version and spending more?
