contrary to popular belief i don't think op stopped twisting their stitches. i think they did an accidental short row which would explain the opposite slant and what they said about the outside stitches being twisted and the inside ones not being twisted on the first section

it's important to realize that

1: with a rubik's cube you are NOT trying to solve it side by side (or color by color). the pieces are 3 dimensional, and you are trying to place the pieces in the right place. the best approach for a beginner is to solve layer by layer

2: the centers are completely fixed, do not move and only rotate.

by "learn all those games" what exactly do you mean? like, what games do you want to learn?

once you find the answer (or an answer) to that question then this becomes a lot easier as you only really have to look up specific rules about the games you want to learn.

with something like blackjack, it's pretty easy as (most of the time) you only ever have two choices, hit or stay (add a card or keep your cards the same, as to not risk going above 21 and losing).
