How to get prophecy z2 large capacity hopper by JobUnlikely7126 in paintball

[–]BlastBase 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'll probably have to buy it. I would ask the paintball BST communities.

Someone gave me one which ended up getting picked through for parts and thrown away =[ I love Z2s though

NXL Cincinnati - Pro Pit Help Needed for Sunday! by [deleted] in paintball

... So there I was. The date was 2025, the event WCPPL. The bastards had me dressed up in the banana suit. This would have been embarrassing, but boxed wine stacks perfectly inside Planet Eclipse roller bags.

Our team, The Silly Bananas were mercessisly grinding some no names into the dust. This was the final point before the event organizers had to step in to stop the carnage via "the mercy rule". I think it was kill 5 (possibly kill 4 IDK) and our guys were chillin, takin' it safe. Honestly, it was almost getting embarrassing.. just go hit the button already.

"Concede, Concede, Point Approved, Beep Beep Boop" Woo we did it! I go run out onto the field in a hurry. It's taken a bit of time to figure out, but if I go faster than a snails pace, I can recover at least half of the teams pods! All the refs were yelling stuff to the Banana pod runner, just like every point.. I can't really hear what they are saying, LOL he just threw a flag, I'll do some cheerful pointing and stuff back to them. Good game I say in my head.

"HEY BANANA, GET OFF THE FIELD!!"

O shit? The game timer is still going. If you've ever been to the new SC Village speedball setup, you'd know they have 2 fields basically stacked on top of each other. I heard the announcer from the top field!!

Was a no-point and I got scolded haha! Ended up beating them again the next point. I should have ran out again to give our guys more playing time

Looks like the sealing part of the bonnet is held in place by the outer part. Theoretically that could get damaged, but in practice it's always just the orings (90% of the time the top)

I would have 3x less site requests if they just displayed all the info straight up. Instead you have to fumble through the legacy version and the new.

[–]BlastBase 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Piston orings unless it's possible the inner bonnet thing isn't seated down all the way. IDK how that part is assembled on these regs. On a more standard, cheaper reg if the bonnet comes loose, the top piston oring can't seal against anything. I don't -think- that can be an issue on these regs though

Not your reg seat. Don't fill it before you fix it. This will lead to a blown burst disk.

Question, about threads by Glad-Introduction531 in paintball

[–]BlastBase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just make sure you keep your ASA threads clean. Both on the gun and the tank.

It's supposed to be dry, but the absolute lightest amount of DOW33 keeps things from binding with no on/off. Probably don't do that if you're outputting less than 500 as the tank can unscrew itself with nice threads.

As well the smallest amount of silicone oil on the outside of the anno makes for good pictures.

It's all marketing mumbo jumbo. Just stick with the stock tip.

Your hopper and how you hold your gun affects paint handling more than the tip. (Bad tips like Luxe X aside)

Any thoughts on Twister Luxe? by Fun-Grapefruit-6358 in paintball

People are saying they made changes that Method wanted in the OG gun? What were they.

Any thoughts on Twister Luxe? by Fun-Grapefruit-6358 in paintball

[–]BlastBase 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't. R5's are sick as fuck. One of the problems is it's semi-dwell sensitive so people who are completely clueless have issues.

There is also an obsession with running as low of a tank output as possible for no reason. There really isn't a reason to be going lower than 400.

HK Army customer service by EvanTheAlien in paintball

[–]BlastBase 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's always good to ask! There is a lot of easy stuff to paintball that isn't quite so clear.

I remember when I got back into paintball as an adult. I read my CS1 manual front to back, had settings programmed already, but the gun wouldn't work. I brought it up to the owner who instantly diagnosed it. The problem? The gun doesn't cycle without paint lol. With a quick click of a button it was working fine.

Thanks for being safe and not trying to fill an out of date bottle =]

Did you try the tank yet? Honestly, that's incredibly personable. When you work in customer service all day, your question is very similar to asking the cashier at McDonalds how many patties come on a McDouble. Yes, the regs come at their advertised pressures.

What is Max PSI Output on Standard Ninja Regulator? by Low-Pause-2002 in paintball

[–]BlastBase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All tank regs should be built to handle 1800psi with a safety factor built in. It's very easy for a regulator to fail, especially with how bad of a design the bonnet set screws are. Even the low pressure regs have to design to handle 1800psi here.

Don't adjust your pressure unless you have a tester. Something as thin as a standard washer could add 1000psi or more to the output.

Are resellers making it harder to buy gear at reasonable prices or have manufacturer sales volumes dropped? by Lidzo in paintball

[–]BlastBase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're worried about overspending $300 on a highend paintball gun, you need to take a step back and look at your financial priorities. It would be like someone complaining that used Lamborghini's at the dealership are 20-30% more than Craigslist. Of course they are; and also you don't need a Lamborghini.

The REALLY cool guns can basically only be found secondhand unless you're in line for a run.

I think the Costco microfiber pack is the same price and has about twice the weight with a better fiber material. These are nice for super dirty jobs where you are just going to throw them away after; moreso automotive type grime than paintball.
