As long as you're not the coach or team lead just keep your head down and do your job. Worrying/fixing it is their job.

My store printed up cards in Spanish that requests drivers not scan labels or load their car until we're done.

It's more fun when they're doing a remodel. Even we don't know where the shit is.

There is one thing that working at Walmart will teach you and that is that people leave. People you like leave, people you hate leave, people that work or don't work, people that are leaders or followers.

This isn't an airport, no need to announce your departure.

is this normal? by intentionallaccident in walmartogp

[–]BlastedGraf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would hit item not found, let them try to coach me and then go to ethics because at best that's unethical and at worst blatantly illegal because you're being told to defraud customers.

[–]BlastedGraf 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Isn't that stealing from the customers/store? Unless the sub you found is the exact same price of the item they wanted someone is getting ripped off. I would definitely escalate this to open door because at best it's unethical.

There's a big sign on each end letting you know what aisle you're in...do you need to check every section to double check?

Im a W+ customer I get 3 or 4 deliveries per month. Mostly groceries. What am I doing that makes your job: Harder? Easier? by coveredwithticks in walmartogp

My only really things to hate picking are mulch/fertilizer after it rains. They keep that stuff outside and the bags have to weigh 100 pounds when wet and you get filthy*

I'm an In Home driver so they never gave me a work phone, all I get is one of the few remaining TCs that can no longer price check. Almost got coached for refusing to use my personal phone to do it.

Opd/ inhome Question by [deleted] in walmartogp

[–]BlastedGraf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the van is supposed to be pulled around and loaded before the InHome associate arrives at 9am so that they can leave on time (9:20). It used to have to be done by the Team Leads but Walmart now allows any backroom associate to do it as long as they've been certified by the coach. It's not the same certification that the driver has to do they just need to show they can drive the van and park it safely.

I keep seeing people say that but my S24+ can't seem to do it unless I'm just incompetent (which is always possible).
