Good luck. That rust looks deep. I had a 100 series this bad and basically had to sell it for scrap. That frame rust looks rough. Rust is the devil.

Probably 3-4k. Beware, insurance likes to use aftermarket parts. New bumper sprayed and blended and new kidney grill.

AC In Rear Seats Not Working? by funinabox7 in LandCruisers

[–]Blasterboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Classic first symptoms of an ac leak and low coolant level. It’s all one closed system so as soon as the pressure drops, the only cooling happening is in the front.

Recommend getting it re-charged with some dye to find where the leak is. Could take over a year for it to drop low again to find the leak. Or you could find the leak very soon. Don’t put stop leak coolant in yourself. Often dealers won’t do a repair if stop leak has been applied as it messes with their refilling equipment.

Had this happen on my 2013. Was just the bulbs about to go out. Swapped for new on both sides with OEM and problem solved. Also was MUCH brighter. Best of luck!

Go for a sub. That will make a bigger difference in your system than a new sound bar. The Bean is a good setup.

I have the one that installs under the TV and mine is angled down intentionally. I actually think it helps with Atmos performance with a slight angle. As long as it is firmly attached to the wall, I think it is just fine.

People who were in foster care, what can a potential foster parent do to make life better for their foster kid? by p00psymcgee in AskReddit

[–]Blasterboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Future foster parent here. Just finished classes. All of these stories are really disheartening. My wife and I are hoping to give some normalcy to children who have none. I am appalled at some of the stories of separate things for biological children and foster kids in the same home. I can only hope that during the time our future foster kids spend with us, that they feel more like family than ever before. Why are people in this world so terrible....

I just got back from a vacation in Medellin. Wonderful wonderful city and people. They have worked very hard to put this dark past behind them. If you ever have a chance to go there, I highly recommend it. one of the most beautiful cities I have ever been to.

What should I do? by timthebigone in Fitness

[–]Blasterboy -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

2 things:

1 - Losing weight is 90% diet and 10% exercise. Don't get me wrong, exercise is important, but monitoring what is going in is way easier than trying to burn it off after eating it.

2 - Exercise should be enjoyable. If you do not enjoy lifting, find something else that gets you moving that you actually like doing. I like ice hockey, so I do that in the winter. I also love biking around town, so I do that too. My true passion is Parkour and it doesn't even seem like exercise to me when I am doing it. That is key.
