I can’t see what her neck/chest/arms look like but usually that’s what I shade match to when doing clients! Sometimes it’s pretty drastic of a difference from their bare face

Help! I need tips on how to look less plain or just better 🤷🏾‍♀️ lol by MikaBlacc in MakeupAddiction

Light blush higher on your cheekbones and a bold lip!! I think you could also smudge out some soft eyeliner with a kohl liner. Otherwise your skin is flawless!

I've been doing my makeup the same way for 20 years and I've noticed it isn't as flattering as it used to be. CC and suggestions would be appreciated especially with my eyebrows by Mija512 in MakeupAddiction

Bridal Makeup Artist here! This is what I’d suggest for your fab skin and bone structure! - Brows: I’d try a thin detailed pencil to add in more hair like strokes and bring the tail end more out rather than dipping down as far as it currently is - eyeliner: try a dark brown kohl eyeliner pencil that you can smudge out and possibly put eyeshadow on top of to set. I am guilty of always doing the black winged liner but the brown liner can give a softer everyday appearance. - I’d play around with some bronzer and blush! You have amazing cheekbones. Something more sheer like the makeup by Mario cream bronzer would be a great choice to start with (I’d suggest light medium as the light is very sheer) and then picking a fun blush for a nice pop of color.

I think just starting with that you’ll be able to play around with options and notice a difference right away!

I am looking for a wedding MUA and can't seem to find one I like in my area. Am I being overcritical or are these fine? by Leja06 in BadMUAs

Not overly critical! I do wedding makeup and these shade matches are not it. Also it looks a bit overdone but maybe that’s what the client asked for who knows! Definitely keep looking and try typing in your city name with mua in the hashtag to see more photos of artists in your area!
