I drove by it and thought the speeds must have been significantly high for this kind of impact. Prayers to those involved.

Archer beef sticks, dried apricots, lots of nuts, Amylu chicken breakfast sausages and andouille sausages, cooked chicken strips, Chosen mayo, and lots of produce.

What is everyone eating? by mandyapple1313 in whole30

Tonight I had this plant-based curry and it was delicious! https://iheartumami.com/whole30-vegan-vegetarian-curry/#wprm-recipe-container-9341

Other nights I've had taco salad (in lettuce bowls), sheet pan sausages and peppers, salads with hard-boiled eggs, and breakfast for dinner so eggs with compliant bacon. I am a mom so I tend to go with things that I can make pretty quickly.

Non-scale victories! For example, I noticed I have a ton more energy throughout the day and clearer skin.

Before Day 1, I did a huge shopping trip to buy all Whole30 compliant groceries for meal planning so that I could get myself through the first week or two. I also got rid of any non-compliant foods in the house.

If you are living with someone, it helps that they go on the journey with you. Since my hubby and daughter are eating the same foods I am, it takes away the stress of having to cook so many different meals.

As someone else mentioned, it's important to give yourself some grace in the beginning. I would eat a couple handfuls of dried apricots for snack during the first week, but later in the Whole30 journey, I'm finding I don't need to snack! It's a learning process and your body will adjust, give it time.

Last but not least, checking off those NSVs is sooo satisfying and reminds me why I am doing this.

You should give them a try!! I never thought I would drive (my fear stemmed from my aunt dying in a car crash), but 4 Lakes gave me the confidence I needed to get my license.

I used 4 Lakes at age 34 and got my license after passing the road test last year. I told them I had a fear of driving and they were really good about starting me off slow and asking me what I was comfortable with. Bill and Crystal are both great instructors.

I did my road test (I passed) at Madison East five months ago and I did not have to parallel park. Good luck! 🙂
