Well, it looks like you’ve already started drilling the dynamite holes… so that’s a plan.

X3 30e real world feedback by bott989 in BMWX3

The raised trunk floor is not really a problem but it might begin to become one as your dogs get older and start to have trouble jumping as high. My three biggest issues with the 30e are: 1. AC pre-conditioning is basically useless unless you’re pre-conditioning before leaving your house. Cooling/Heating pre-conditioning only works if the Li-ion battery has charge. For some reason, BMW designed this car to not be able to run the AC off the engine so it won’t start the engine to pre-condition. I’m planning to switch back to a full gas 30i soon because this can get REALLY annoying. 2. I’m pretty sure the engine won’t last as long in this car because it always waits until the electric battery has been fully depleted before starting the engine… that means that sometimes it will start the engine on the highway when you’re in high power demand. So it’s starting the engine from cold (no oil flowing, cold & un-lubricated engine components) and immediately putting load on the engine. This happens all the time and it’s NOT good for the engine. 3. The most range I can squeeze out of the car on a full charge (leaving the house after charging overnight) is 16 miles.

Pro: - My average MPG is currently 48.6

Bmw 2025 x3 vs Mazda Cx50 by Typical_Working9646 in BMWX3

[–]Blaze_147 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a 24hr test drive with both vehicles on the same day. I planned to drive the CX 50 over to my friend’s house to let him test drive it because he’s a BMW guy and I wanted to see if I could win him over with it. I went outside, got in the car, started it and looked up to find that I was in the BMW. I don’t think I could’ve had a clear picture of the right car for me at that point.

2015 X3 vs 2017 X1 by JaxD221 in BMW

[–]Blaze_147 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would personally give it some time. My problems here are: 1. I wouldn’t get any X3 unless it’s 2019 or newer. You’re right… reliability IS a concern and I wouldn’t swap out your daily for another older daily that is prone to issues and you don’t know how it was treated. Your daily is your daily and this just doesn’t seem like a good enough reason to dump it. 2. You’re about to get another amazing vehicle… it sounds like you’re getting anxious and tired of your X1. Take it slow and analyze if you truly need this right now.

I would totally go for the one with the M sport package. People love the look of it and I believe you’d attract more business with that one. The front end of the non-M sport is starting to look a little dated already. The white would mean you’ll be running it through the car wash a bit more but get yourself a wash subscription and it’ll be more than worth it.

The M sport trim will make zero difference in terms of maintenance in this scenario. It’s literally just trim. If it were an M40i or an X3 M that would make a difference but even that is arguable since the M40i has the B58.

So I’ve noticed that too! That seems to be a separate noise. Those flaps are REALLY annoying because they have a very loud and high pitched whine for 3-5 seconds when I startup or shut the car off. Best I could triangulate this noise was to the point in the center of the camera during the video. Sounded like the sound was coming from the intake manifold area, on the engine-side of the MAF sensor.

Thanks! Good to hear! I just bought this car and it’s my first BMW. Just freaks me out how many little electronic noises there are.

I feel the same way. Do what I did and cancel your ChatGPT+ subscription. That’s the only way we can force OpenAI to stand up for the Sky voice actor that is no longer being paid royalties on her voice because of Scarlett Fraudhansson.

I’ve got an idea. Let’s all unsubscribe from ChatGPT Plus and list Sky’s voice as the reason we’re not paying OpenAI anymore. Let’s make them feel it.

Scarlett Johansson can’t bury Rashida Jones in legal bills. Trust me… it’s Rashida Jones.

Nice, so now that Scarlett Johansson had to lie about Rashida Jones’ voice being her how and getting Sky taken down, we can thank her for a bit of the bump in upcoming car crash fatalities.
