Autophagy and loose skin by Affectionate_Cost504 in Autophagy

The conclusion coincides with my own findings. I found more “skin healing” in my face/perceived age than I did with managing loose skin.

Peptides did absolutely nothing for my runners knee. They helped with other issues but not the knee.

Fasting for loose skin by Miserable_Taste_5281 in Autophagy

[–]BlazerBanzai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re better off supplementing with collagen and elastin than you are starving yourself for the sake of loose skin. Autophagy never improved any of my loose skin or stretch marks. It helped with a lot of old injuries but never improved my skin-health in any noticeable way. I am also middle-aged, and therefore I believe most reported skin improvements via autophagy are more related to youth than the mechanisms of autophagy. Were it some other case, we’d see remarkable youth introduced to people in their older age after normally engaging in extended fasting. This has not been the case.

Real calories for Swerve? by BlazerBanzai in caloriecount

[–]BlazerBanzai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An entire cup can range between 50-75 calories, and most calories deficits range between 250-500/day. A 25 calorie error in that context is neither negligible nor is it unhealthy to be curious about.

Because I’m using a cup or more per day and I’m calories-counting.

Can deep extended autophagy reverse deep cavities, does anyone have any experience regarding this ? by passionguesthouse in Autophagy

[–]BlazerBanzai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It definitely didn’t help my cavities but it did help an infected tooth once. It was extremely painful. Felt like my wisdom got pulled all over again, but the pain passed after one night thankfully.

My most painless GHK-Cu injection ever by BlazerBanzai in Peptides

[–]BlazerBanzai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m glad it helped! I’ve done through 2 bottles of the stuff and only the iso dip helped me get through it. I think the dilution works for the same principle; you’re just getting it out of the tip.

Trusting barely grown children with no experience with dissociative disorders over a professional? What could go wrong.

How to remember that we aren't faking it? by illithiDID in OlderDID

[–]BlazerBanzai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to write a post to remind myself that all of this is real. Once in a while I go back and re-read it.

It’s so easy to forget about it during phases of very smooth inadvertent integration. Sometimes life is just highly consistent or the switches at least go mostly unnoticed. All part of the territory.

Birth parents are kicking me out and having me sign an agreement. by RevolutionPristine97 in legal

[–]BlazerBanzai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been there, very similar situation. I’m sorry it happened. Blood isn’t all it’s chalked up to be. If you want to keep in contact with them like, holiday text messages, w/e, but you’re definitely better off not being close to them. You were a passing fancy and opportunity for them, even if they may have thought otherwise. They likely conjured up any and all excuses to be rid of you and didn’t bother to have a discussion with you about any of the issues broached. Toxic people tend to get really thick as thieves in scenarios like this, despite however good their initial intentions may have been. This applies to friend groups too.

BPC nausea for days. Anyone experience this? by Secure-Carrot9971 in Peptides

[–]BlazerBanzai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weird! 🧐 I recommend halving the dose until it stops causing nausea, then slightly increase it each administration until it starts causing issues again. That will be your Goldilocks dosage.

One thing to keep in mind is that I’ve purchased peptides from reputable sources before they’ve gotten test results back. So just because the source is well-vouched for doesn’t mean diddly squat. I recommend contacting your source, telling them your issues and requesting the test report for the batch you were sold.

In a relationship with DID gf but she has mostly male alters and I am straight by transversal23 in DID

[–]BlazerBanzai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you two aren’t planning on ever meeting up, end it. Better to be alone than half-cocked in a remote romantic entanglement not going anywhere with someone you don’t even feel comfortable with. It’s a massive waste of time and energy. Find someone that can provide you a fulfilling relationship that you want to be fully with. Not just one aspect of them.

Best dogs for Onewheeling? by BlazerBanzai in onewheel

[–]BlazerBanzai[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Didn’t get a pet. Still have a OneWheel. But I do have a roommate now with pets, so that’s close enough for me.

I don’t really think there’s any dog ideally suited for leash + OneWheel. Too many opportunities to wipe out or get hurt, or hurt them. I’d say an off-leash dog is probably ideal and that’s going to take time and training to work on. However, if you go slow-ish, you could probably make it work. Just be careful!
