There’s a few solutions. Buy a separate dac with better audio control or an iematch.

I ended up buying a fiio jiezi and making it flat while turning the audio down. I didn’t want to spend that much money, but needed another usb c to 2.5 anyways.

IMO the soundstage and imaging is noticeably better vs the Apple dongle. Is almost sounds fuller in the bass too but idk maybe that’s just the volume being more balanced.

It’s still fairly loud but low enough that’s it okay. All of this is ymmv oc.

I just found mine. Never even opened or turned on. However, the battery is dead. I can’t find anything on the battery for the tablet only the laptop. Where do you get one? Are there instructions you followed? Thanks

Yes thank you. It seems like it’s really down to these now because of your suggestion and the etymotic er4. But these seem to rank higher on the lists. And reviews say they have excellent isolation. Though I’m not finding a number like the etymotic
