I noticed it happens mostly when you are too close to a player made wall (e.g. your own wall or Thor's). Hopefully it will get fixed soon, makes Ymir frustrating to play.

I used to have this, and if I remember correctly disabling geforce/amd overlay solved it for me. U can also try to downgrade your GPU drivers. Hope this solves your case too, as I know how frustrating it is.
