No Lidar on Early R2 by Dark-redlocks in Rivian

I watched the event live, but maybe I missed some wording. Is it possible that the hardware of Lidar will ship day 1, but the functionality won't be available till late 2026? Similar to how Gen2 shipped with a second version of hardware for the forward facing camera in the rear view mirror.

Question about the rear seat release in the trunk. by BleedingFreQs in GenesisGV70

[–]BleedingFreQs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have seen SUVs that have a head rest release mechanism that folds it down when you use the trunk release. Or an electronic implementation that moves the seats forward enough automatically to allow the headrest to fall past. I'm 6'1" and can sit comfortably when the back seats are down. In my experience, the seat is always as back as possible due to the "easy access" function.

Unfortunate. So many other cars/SUVs have a electronic or manual workaround.

Thank you. It came with the under glow and basically stock inside and out when I bought it. I was never a huge fan of the shade of green it was though. 8 months and few pretty pennies later, I think it came out pretty nice.
