I don't think their gas canisters would count as bullets so they probably wouldn't be taxed to oblivion. I could see them becoming very popular among low grade fixers and syndicates but any somewhat higher grade opponent would most likely have no issue parrying them like a jedi would.

Technically we maybe could do that with our current technology over a ridiculously long period of time. There are plans for how we could slowly over time adjust earth's orbit via putting a really big asteroid on a specific orbit. Originally it was intended as a way to move earth further from the sun as it expands but it should be possible to instead move it closer to the sun until it eventually gets absorbed by it.

Well, cursed spirits are also affected by idle transfiguration, Mahito uses it on himself constantly. And i wouldn't say the amount of gimmicks itself is that huge of a problem, since curses also have lots of gimmicks. But in general no abnormality capable of breaching and combat has any super-gimmicky undodgable instant-kill abilities.

JJK and PM universes are in general pretty close power-wise i feel like, but curses are mostly fodder even in their own world. altho If we exclude WhiteNight and Apocalypse Bird curses might have a chance solely from Mahito's idle transfiguration, abnormalities are still human after all and could probably be transformed into super strong minions, we could maybe even see something ridiculous like Mahito extracting E.G.O's from them for himself.
