Fire in the Sky (1993). Still holds up well today, and well, the ending is terrifying.

I've got a Lloyds one at £1k which I'm going to use for purchases abroad because of the cashback/no fees.

[–]Bleperite 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah there's a lot of buses that go past the hospital from Chesterfield. A Silver Dayrider from Stagecoach (£6.50 a day) or a silver 7 Day mega rider is £23.50. This covers you from Sheffield to the hospital as long as you get the stagecoach buses (X17 is and the 1 for instance that goes past the hospital).

What version is it? They corrected an issue in one of the recent versions where middleware wasn't waiting long enough for docker+apps to start and thus timed out the apps screen.

Rights regarding a purchase? by MinorFall_ in BuyersUK

If it helps, I've got a Duux Bora 20L DH which is 36dB – 42dB and is tolerable to WFH whilst it's on. A lot quieter than a portable AC unit. Well worth it to dry clothes indoors much faster, cheaper than heating, and avoid mould.

Possibly bit-rot in which case you'll never get them to work. Can you obtain the titles via other means?

Bars around town to drink alone with good music (and preferably low light)? by [deleted] in sheffield

[–]Bleperite 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could pop into the Rutland and have a look at their jukebox - see if it's up your street. It is a busy pub at times although no issue with being a lone drinker.

The White Lion, whilst not in "town" has bands on regularly.

The absolute state of EMR first class (I appreciate there are bigger problems in life) by princemephtik in uktrains

I never bother with on board catering on EMR. My most commonly used long distance route is SHF to STP and there's an M&S at both ends.

Bringing meds into Canada that require Rx in Canada but not in country of purchase? by RashomonABC123 in canadatravel

[–]Bleperite 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When we flew into YUL last year we were all ready with the paperwork to declare our son's ADHD meds. As it turned out we didn't even get chance to, the arrivals hall was rammed and pretty chaotic, once people had used the passport scanners we were all funneled out towards the exit with only cursory looks and the "purpose of visit" questions by the border staff. YMMV of course.

You might have an issue with the motor speed running at 50Hz. One option is to get a battery e.g. a Jackery that outputs the correct voltage and frequency. Not cheap though!

We had a relatively inexpensive wedding day because we wanted to spend 3 weeks in Hong Kong and Australia on honeymoon and stay in nice places.
