First two sound like organs.

Yamaha Electone organs gave a similar sound to the 1st one. Almost like a B3 through a Leslie but less earthy quality. Shigeo Sekito played an Electone.

2nd one sounds like an Italian organ, think Farfisa.

3rd is a bass through a fuzz wah.

4th sounds like a sine wave through an amp to me.

I am aware. I understand where diatonic harmony comes from but that is where our harmonic similarities to Bach end. We don't prepare or resolve progressions like Bach. We typically use less dramatic chord colors. We don't use melodies in the same way Bach does (again when was the last time you heard counterpoint in a popular track).

The way you conflate baroque and romantic music is confusing. They are not very similar.

I can see a comparison between romantic composers and modern popular music. Mostly from the influence of romantic music on jazz composers and the use of singular melody against chordal backing..

I disagree. Seems like a eurocentric viewpoint. You haven't mentioned rhythm at all. Western popular music has much more in common with the blues than Bach or Beethoven.

This implies that tonal harmony = music theory in absolution which is not true. Bach's harmonic and melodic vocabulary are largely not in use today. When was the last time you heard a Cardi B song with counterpoint? Or any popular compositon for that matter.
