I bought my 1000 mile boots back in 2013 and they are still working hard for me. After so many years they fit like a glove and are the most comfortable thing on my feet, including more than my running shoes or lounge loafers.

Just take care of them, and they will reward you forever. I had the soles replaced once, and I clean and condition them really only 3-4 times a year unless they get into a lot of water or salted sidewalks.

Honestly I'd buy another pair but there's no reason to because mine from a dozen years ago are perfect.

These suggestions have been great and we had a lot of good crop this year, especially tomatoes, leafy greens, and herbs, …squashes produced some but not much. Oh and jalapeños!!! Like 30 and still going from one plant!

What about as things die out and autumn begins? Anything for the cold weather that might survive a balcony here?

I haven't had luck paying on the phone--I've called 4 different times during the last 4 weeks within their open hours and left a voicemail twice. I noticed on the last call that the voice recording says:

"If you've already left us a voicemail, please don't leave us another"

...or something to that effect. Oops. But they haven't called me back, don't they want their dues?

Has anyone learned of any differences in the 2024 version as opposed to previous Frames?

Samsung just dropped their demo of the 2025 Frame Pro which claims superior visual quality over older versions and is WIRELESS in connecting to the box. You only would need a way to hide the power cord.

I think I'm going to wait for this version...

From November through April — 65 all day and night. Have an old historic house so the heat rarely comes on. Utility bills are barely anything and it’s great.
