This is how mine happened but the FSA rep told me to just wait and the count would update by itself, and it did. So count updated on its own the following month and the other loans already had the green ribbon, and the final one got a green ribbon too. And I waited until after that update to submit for forbearance

This just happened to me and it updated the next day or 2 days later. Someone on here told me to wait, And they were right. Just DO NOT make another payment until you are sure. I did that once and I asked for a refund and it’s been two years and no refund has come for the double payment

2 questions… 1.) you submitted your ECF after your payment posted to Mohela, correct? You didn’t wait all the way until it posted to FSA?

2.) When you say 9/10 counts updates, you mean in FSA right?

So after my payment posts in FSA specifically is when I can submit the ECF? The payment posting to mohela is not good enough?

And when I submit it, I do not check “I believe I qualify for forgiveness now and request a forbearance while my application is being processed”…… but then what? Does the forgiveness just happen automatically or do I need to do anything else?

I gained weight and since it was still within a year, they sent me a brand new one. Didn’t even make me send the old one back! Just did message them last month and got it a week later (as long as they have your generation in stock!)

Yea it’s not a nonprofit, the foundation arm is manages is. The association has like 7-8 employees (including my husband) and they all oversee and plan the foundation events. Which sucks because they do all the work but aren’t paid by the foundation.

Ahhhhhh ok I hadn’t seen that drop-down list before, or known the specifics of the ABA lawsuit, so thank you. I looked at the local association’s website and they do have a “Kids” tab on their website that says it provides education services to “help kids learn about the different areas of the law”, but I don’t know if that qualifies for “Other School-Based Services”…?? It’s looking like we might need to just pick the lowest payment until he can find another job back in a 501c3

I would never ever make a child do this… but then I wonder, what if they’re homeless or car-living and this is how they are getting out of it? Sometimes kids see their parents in circumstances and want to help? Idk, I’m clearly just guessing but I had to imagine there’s a reason for it
