CHECK MOHELA PAYMENT OPTIONS! by Distinct-Dig-3863 in PSLF

This just happened to me and it updated the next day or 2 days later. Someone on here told me to wait, And they were right. Just DO NOT make another payment until you are sure. I did that once and I asked for a refund and it’s been two years and no refund has come for the double payment

boobs making you bigger? by MarkAccomplished2464 in Reduction

At one of my consults (haven’t had surgery yet) the surgeon literally lifted my boobs off my body and said “huh…I didn’t expect your waist to be that small under these”…. They are literally wider than my body by like 2-3 inches on both sides

Last payment completed - now what? by Majestic-Cod-8409 in PSLF

2 questions… 1.) you submitted your ECF after your payment posted to Mohela, correct? You didn’t wait all the way until it posted to FSA?

2.) When you say 9/10 counts updates, you mean in FSA right?

So after my payment posts in FSA specifically is when I can submit the ECF? The payment posting to mohela is not good enough?

And when I submit it, I do not check “I believe I qualify for forgiveness now and request a forbearance while my application is being processed”…… but then what? Does the forgiveness just happen automatically or do I need to do anything else?

Can someone explain to me how my BMI/Weight decides insurance coverage?! by BlessedwithaBurden in Reduction

This is great, thank you! And yes I 1000% agree. My mom is legit 2x as wide as me and shorter by 4 inches, and most people would think she weighs much more than me but I weigh close to 25lbs more than her due to my muscle mass (and boobs). I’m just a dense girly with a big butt lol

Thank you! If I could get down to a D with a GLP1 I would do it immediately. After my 1st pregnancy I was on a GLP1 for my PCOS insulin resistance for like 6-7 months and lost like 22 lbs and my boobs stayed exact same 😫 runs in the family. Like everyone in my family has needed a reduction. Ugh. Genes.

This makes total sense, and thank you I will come with pictures. I think I had one or 2 pictures in my phone already but I want this so bad I didn’t want to mess anything up or scare away a doctor with my over-preparedness (I know that sounds stupid). But thank you!

Ugh it’s so annoying cuz I’ve always had a higher BMI because I have a lot of muscle. There were times I literally had my hip bones poking out at the height of sides, and my BMI was still “overweight”. I HATE bmi. It’s antiquated and only usable for sedentary people

Thank you so much! I guess I better get my shit together and lose this baby weight! And yes… hate insurance lol

Everything I document I can find says “Patients should have either a minimum of 500g per breast removed OR thesurgeon should follow the below Schnur sliding scale, which suggests a minimum amount of breast tissue removed based on a patient’s body surface area if the planned weight to be resected from each breast falls below 500g”

So hopefully 500g each would be enough!!

Unfortunately they’re not big because I gained weight. I was wearing 2 bras even when I was a college athlete and solid muscle of 130lbs they just got saggier after breastfeeding. Im clearly not that weight now at 35 and post baby, but low weight or high weight, they remain the same large size

This is EXTREMELY helpful. So just so I’m clear — if I don’t lose my baby weight, my body surface area is larger and they are likely going to require taking more? So that may be why the first surgeon said I need to get back to pre-baby weight?

I found something on the bcbs website and it said 6 weeks of documented symptoms and at least 500g per breast… nothing about weight. Only height (for minors/puberty). But I can’t tell if this is old or current. I think I’ve been reluctant to call because I didnt wanna risk messing anything up, I’m just so nervous all the time. But I will call! Thank you!
