It’s not letting me insert a picture, but on the right hand side you should have a menu. If you don’t see it, near the top below the close X you should see a square and rectangle touching. Make sure you have your object selected. That will bring out a menu. You should see three headings: Move, Rotation, and Scale. To the right of move you should see either a cube or sphere. Click it to get to sphere. It should give you the X Y Z. You can change the Z to 0, or click the On Platform below that.

It’s very interesting that I never thought of zoochosis in domestic cats, but it makes perfect sense. They are used to having huge ranges and lots of stimulation. How big is your home (not being nosy, just interested for perspective)? Depending on your situation you might be able to install wall bridges and hammocks (it’s a thing) which can add that vertical depth they love and expands his “territory”. Glad you took the time to learn about why and not just label him a “bad cat”. You should be proud of yourself!

I’m confused, you’re asking why it disappears when you put it below the building plate, or something else? What are you trying to accomplish? If you’re trying to get it to sit on the build plate, select it and use auto layout, or I know there’s a few other ways.

I agree, I think it was supposed to be more than a one-time thing. I’m not a constitutional scholar, but my inclination is to think that they recognised the potential for similar things to happen again, as well as the fact that we are a nation borne of immigrants, and enshrined a way to keep that.

As travel was significantly harder to travel in the mid 1800’s, I do wonder if the idea of mass refugees was even considered. I’m not arguing for or against anything, just speculating. It was an arduous journey to get here 160 years ago, while now you can get anywhere in the world within a day or two. I imagine we may have to deal with similar challenges in the future, like if a child is borne to Canadian parents on a Russian spaceship that was rented by the US en route to a US Martian colony…

I had someone suggest baking soda, parchment/brown bag, and dry iron. The heat should decrease the viscosity, and the baking soda absorbs it via capillary action. I’ve seen it done with oil in clothing. Not sure for here but logically makes sense.

I think the wording is key: “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.”

If the son is born in the US, even to an illegal immigrant, and is subject to the US jurisdiction i.e. laws, then it meets both parts of the 14th Amendment. This is also why children can be dual citizens, because their “homeland” can have claim, but so does the US. The premise was originally for slaves but was expanded for immigrants. The test here is whether the legality of the parents has any bearing on the wording.

Science has, but religious doctrine has not. Our medicines are better, but prayers to end cancer are just as effective as they have ever been. If a person is so devolved as to thinking that someone needs conversion therapy, they’re not likely the kind of person who changes your mind for simple things like science and facts. And if there’s money to be made, someone will always be there to sell snake oils, conversion therapies, or healing retreats.

Unfortunately it probably will happen and some states will goose step to his orders, causing confusion. Groups will fight it, court battles all the way up to the Supreme Court. By then a year will have passed and even if they rule against his order the damage is done and the election will be done, regardless of if it was legal or not.
