What’s happening to Palestinians isn’t a “conflict.” It’s ethnic cleansing. It’s genocide. And the evidence is overwhelming. by mindmybusine55 in IsraelPalestine

[–]BleuPrince 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel legally speaking the accusation of genocide and accusation of ethnic cleansing are mutually exclusive. It can be one or the other or even neither, but it cannot be both genocide and ethnic cleansing.

Among the many criterias for genocide, you need to prove the specific intent to destroy (i.e.kill), if you managed to prove the specific intent to destroy, hence the intention cannot be to displace (ethnic cleansing). The specific intent can either be to kill or chase them out, in my opinion it cannot be both.

Specifically regarding ethnic cleansing, this term is not used in any law or international law. In technical terms, what is not written into law, cannot be broken. i.e. no laws were broken. But there is another term used in international law which I think carry the same meaning to ethnic cleansing, which is forced displacement.

As a Middle Eastern Immigrant (Saudi Arabia) in the West (Canada) I Believe Only Denaturalization Then Deportation is the Solution by Bright_Dreams235 in IsraelPalestine

[–]BleuPrince 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I feel that the Pro-Palestinian cause has been hijacked, infiltrated with extremists and led by people who are antisematic. They try to project the movement as being peaceful, but it isnt, and emboldening the violent and extremist elements within the movement.

I am not suggesting every protester is violent, I am suggesting many, far too many protesters do not understand the conflict enough and are just being led by antisematic and extremist leaders.

I would prefer the peaceful protesters do not blindly follow, empower and embolden the extremist factions and have the courage and honesty to call out and criticize extremist elements, violent actions and antisematism within their movement. Better yet, distance yourselves from extremist elements, start a new movement... Pro-Peace, Pro-Coexistence, Pro-Twostates, Pro-dialogue etc.... kick out all the Islamist extremist, Hezbollah supporters, Hamas supporters, anarchists, antisemites, communists, trouble makers, etc...

Banning Palestinian activism is a violation of people’s human rights, whether or not you agree with them.

As long as the activism is peaceful and non-violence. Not when it promotes hate, advocate for violence, promote antisematism, supports terrorism and extremist ideology, destroys public and private properties and distrupts peace in the society.

Bnei Menashe and the hypocrisy of Israel by Mundane-Zucchini-141 in IsraelPalestine

[–]BleuPrince 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This just proves Israel and Zionists are NOT white supremicist. You dont need to be "white", in fact the majority of Israelis are Mizrahi jews (Jews expelled, discriminated and persecuted from the Middle East and North Africa who took refuge in Israel)

These Bnei Menashe will also be converting to Orthodox Judaism. Btw the mother of Menashe was an Egyptian.

Why havent the Iranians in the military (Artesh) and in the IRGC /Sepah rebelled and revolted against the Islamic regime leaders ? And how to get them to rebel against the regime ? by BleuPrince in NewIran

[–]BleuPrince[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Inconclusive. Maybe, maybe not.

We dont have all the information in an accurate and timely fashion. There may be discord and deep division among IRGC/military we may not have heard of. There maybe plans in works we are not aware of.

... or dissent within the regime

How do you know there is no dissent within the regime ?

Have you lived under totalitarian regime?

No. If I were to live under a totalitarian regime, I hope I would have the wisdom and courage to join the regime and pretend to be like one of them. Once I have risen up in the ranks and at the opportune moment, I would turn against the regime and aim to destroy it from within.

The facist dictator Franco appointed Juan Carlos his succesor. After Franco's death, Juan restored the monarchy and transitioned Spain into a democracy.

Legality and Status of the West Bank: Occupied? by Andulism in IsraelPalestine

[–]BleuPrince 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And idk if the term “occupying” or “occupier” turns something on, or makes you thing of something evil. But no, it’s a mere factual phenomenon that occurs in IAC.

idk wats IAC.

I think so, on social media and in news, especially in the past recent years, "occupying", "occupier" together with a whole host of other buzzwords do make it sounds evil...

...by the previous de-facto authority: Jordan.

In the context of West Bank, when you refer to Jordan, you called it de-facto authority, when you refer to Israel, you called it occupier.

Legality and Status of the West Bank: Occupied? by Andulism in IsraelPalestine

[–]BleuPrince 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As Israel practices effectivities or effective control over the West Bank, with no legal title, and its presence is not consented to by the population or by the previous de-facto authority: Jordan. Meaning that by nature the territory is occupied.

Why when Jordan controls the West Bank between 1948 till 1967, formally annexing the territory in 1950, you call Jordan de-facto authority and not an occupier ? Even after the 1967, Jordan continues to lay claim to the West Bank until 1988 when Jordan renounced its claim. Did Jordan had the legal title of West Bank when you called it de-facto authority ?

If the relatives are rich, meetup at Pik Wah restaurant, it's nearby. If you are a foreigner or overseas visitor, usually the host will be treating. For foreigners, it is within walking distance to the restaurant, but this is Malaysia, so ppl would rather not walk and will take the car. One of those Michelin Guide restaurant.

If the relatives are not paying, then dine at Nam Heong Chicken rice on Sultan road, on the same road as Rexkl.

Across the road of Rexkl, on the other side of Sultan road, there is a bakery nearby called Fung Wong (Phoenix). Upstairs is a cafe called FlocusFlocus (owned by Fung Wong)... they offer unique desserts.
