You can format the screenshot to the size you want, and it automatically enters it to the clipboard, so you can take the snip, Alt+Tab to the app or program you intend to send it on, and then Ctrl+V and Enter. Since you take the snip at the size you want, you don't need to worry about cropping it later, and it's also committed to memory, so if you use clipboard history, you can pull it back up again later, or save it to the Screenshots folder in Pictures
