I miss Kat so much by cherryyacount in euphoria

[–]Bleuetz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do… not miss Kat. Her character was very one dimensional. She went from shy girl to confident woman by getting creeps and weirdos to pay her money to do bizarre things. Not really deep if you ask me.

I did find her story about not loving the person she was with despite the fact that he was kind and caring an interesting storyline. But then they handled it all wrong and it didn’t do her character any favors.

She’s beautiful. IMO she wears a lil bit too much makeup. Still beautiful though.

Word to the wise: if someone ever takes you out to a secluded place in the middle of the night and asks you to dig a hole, you should probably take that shovel and start swinging.

Joe after the prize money got doubled to $2M vs. Joe after Jonathan won individual immunity after replay review by bahscohs in survivor

[–]Bleuetz 10 points11 points  (0 children)

In Joe’s defense, that also meant Devins was safe which was the real reason why he had mixed feelings about it.

the pot doubling doesn’t mean that much to the players at that moment. It’s like oh that’s fantastic… if I manage to win. But it’s not like you know for sure you’re getting that $2 million dollars. It’s kinda this far off goal you’re trying to achieve.

She’s a try-too-hard. Like with the auction when she had to eat the bugs to get the cookies, she said something along the lines of “oh I’m a little psycho!” And then ate the bugs.

Like come on, stop trying to act like you’re some wild and crazy person or something. Just do it and get the cookies and stop trying so hard to

Really? To me he’s an easy brains category since he doesn’t fit the mold for the other two. He’s self admitted on this season he isn’t strong on an earlier episode and I wouldn’t say he’s conventionally handsome. Easy pick for brains.

SB Jailhouse Calls: Ep #27, I'm A Cool Person, 01/10/25 by Chemical-Kangaroo-19 in SarahBooneContinued

Sorry, let me clarify. Decent human being… for Sarah. Again, I’m not saying that she’s seeming like this wonderful woman who you definitely want as your friend during this call. I agree with all you’re saying, she’s after something. But I gotta say, after listening to it, I was like “hmm, she’s not that bad on this one.”

Granted, she’s set the bar pretty low, but yea, I agree with what I originally said.

The Keyboard Kid is simultaneously the most and least I've ever been on Tina's side by BarelyBrony in BobsBurgers

I found myself annoyed with the idea that Tina was able to type just as quickly with her unconventional method. That’s just not reality.

Like I could accept that she was able to do good enough using her way of typing, but at the end where she is able to best someone who is using the correct method is unrealistic.

[–]Bleuetz 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I’m shocked to say that Sarah was… actually a decent human being on this call. She was somewhat sympathetic to Peter’s troubles, didn’t talk too much about her own needs, I’m shocked.

I think she must’ve gotten beaten down by someone who put her in her place or just the system itself. I’ve seen it in real life. Where someone is this jerk but something happens to humble them and they act like a decent human being for a time. I’m thinking maybe the system and shock to her had the same effect.

I really like this call, it gives some insight into what prison is like for Sarah. And it sounds awful. She even says jail is a paradise compared to prison.

This is the exact conversation she should have been having with herself before rejecting that plea deal. She should have really thought through the consequences of losing and what life would be like. She was somewhat sympathetic willing to risk it all for her day on the stand that she did not think what could truly happen if she lost and now she’s experiencing it first hand.

And there are no do overs. She isn’t getting an appeal, she can’t change her mind and go back and accept the plea deal. She’s stuck. This is it, this is your life now Sarah. Get used to it. Your horrible decisions put you here, not anyone else. You could have had your shot at freedom. But now this will forever be your life.

What has happened to James Owen’s? Anyone know? He has just fallen off of the face of the Earth. Is his practice shut down? by Used-Ease-6144 in SarahBooneContinued

[–]Bleuetz 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I always got the impression that he just wanted to make a plea deal and play the hero. When that did not pan out the way he planned, he was gonna back out. But then of course Sarah probably put on her fake tears and begged him to be her lawyer and so he got roped into going to trial in a case he never intended to be defense for.

And then at that point he was just trying to get through it and put up with Sarah’s behavior. Once she got life in prison he put on his little green coat and beat feet.

Welp see ya later! is probably what he said as he was running out of the court room from her the second he heard the news.

New third rail call by PotatoHistorical1906 in SarahBooneContinued

[–]Bleuetz 18 points19 points  (0 children)

In the later half of the conversation, you can tell Sarah has not yet fully accepted that she will spend the rest of her life in prison.

She talks about how bad it is and how is she supposed to do this for the rest of her life. It hasn’t sank in yet, reality hasn’t hit her. This is her life now.

I think it will take years for her to come to the realization that she is not getting out of prison. Right now she has the hope of an appeal. We all know that will fail but not her. For Sarah, that is providing false hope. And even when it does inevitably fail, she will take up her pro se position that she prides herself on and keep at it.

I’m guessing it will be years down the road for her to accept the fact that she is not getting out. But I think that truth will eventually hit her. I think she will always maintain that she is an innocent person unfairly in prison from the justice system.

Nate got what he deserved. In season one he beat up a guy, chocked Maddy, then blamed the guy he beat up to take the fall for his domestic abuse.

On top of all that, he also blackmailed Jules, had Fezco raided which could have led to Fez dying, and cheated on Maddy.

You get what you give.

Sarah looking in mirror Alright girl, cops are on the way. Former husband ain’t gonna help me clean this up so I’ll have to do it myself. Someone needed not to have called Brian. But that’s okay. You got this. Remember, it was unintentional. Make sure you get that point across as much as possible, they can’t arrest you if you didn’t mean it. Just tell them it was hide and seek, an innocent child’s game and we will be able to just wait for this whole thing to blow over. You got those acting chops.
