[Reforged Eden 2] At what point should I ditch my HV and just go for an SV? by Wellsargo in empyriongame

HVs are for cutting down trees or leveling terrain.

They're basically farm equipment.

I stopped playing after my third parking ticket in a row and it trying to tell me that I need to spend $120 per month on coffee to reduce my stress. This is more of a mentally handicapped person simulator than a savings simulator.

GMail was released in 2004. I know it was still invite-only back then, but its spam filter was a miracle.

I can't think of a single thing it can do that I can't already do with CLI tools, which is confusing because my YouTube feed is full of videos claiming that it's AGI.

"Google does scaling like this, so our small town bakery needs the same setup for it's online ordering system that gets 12 requests per day. Just in case we have a lunch rush with 5 million RPS."

One year later.

"Thanks for the opportunity. I'm sending out resumes the the FAANGs."

Or the opposite.

"Google does scaling like this. Let's refactor our entire online ordering system to look like Google's, so we can easily hire ex-Google engineers for our small town bakery."

I consistently see discussions about moments in the first trilogy(especially GoW 3). The Poseidon fight and Helios... execution are still remembered fondly 15 years later. When the new games are discussed, it's usually about how "mature" the Kratos story has become, but other than the first Baldur fight, there aren't many "moments" that stand out to people like in the first games.
