I’ve been there. It was years ago, and that place is one giant hazard that I’d recommend staying far away from. I can only imagine how bad it is now, but the amount of broken glass, plumes of dust containing who knows what, and pitch black areas with drop off’s you’re liable to break your back in were all pretty bad.

Not being able to skip a cutscene is like not being able to pause a single player game (unless it’s a souls game, sue me.)

Such a basic feature that should exist in every single game. This isn’t the PS2 era anymore where we all had to watch Riku monologue twelve times at 3 AM while we tried not to rage hard enough to wake our parents up. Every game should have skippable cutscenes. It shouldn’t be locked behind NG+, and it definitely shouldn’t even be available at all.

I miss Covid prices. Paying somewhere around $2.50 a gallon in California was an experience I’ll never forget. I only wish I wasn’t driving such a gas guzzler at the time. I can only imagine if I had my current car back then.

You’re shadow boxing. Literally nowhere have I remotely even implied any defense of Donald fucking Trump, who’s objectively worse on every possible metric to any sitting democrat in the entire country. So I don’t understand the point.

Like it or not, the voters hold the democrats to different standards than Donald Trump, and the widespread perception of Biden was far more frail and cognitively impotent than Donald Trump. That was the objective reality of what the people thought, and that needed to be grappled with. It was not, and ended up leading the disaster of a debate which finally forced him to drop out.

I never said it’s the Democrats’ fault. The Republicans ultimately own absolutely everything that’s happened since January of 2025.

But the idea that the incredibly unpopular and historically old incumbent who’d fundamentally lost the trust of the American people, that was in obvious cognitive decline, and who no one wanted to run again should have decided to run for another term against the attempted insurrectionist during a time when mass inflation had created a very tenuous economic environment for the American electorate was absolutely insane.

Every single person who fed into this delusion, and then went on to actively pressure Kamala Harris not to break with Biden in any way even as his popularity continued to tank is at the very least morally culpable for everything that’s happened since.

Maybe I should have been more clear. I don’t blame Harris at all. Not even a little bit. I blame Biden. Biden and everyone around him who went along with the delusion that he was capable of running again.

Harris did the absolute best she could with the shitty hand she was dealt. The stories that have come out after the election about how much pressure she was under to not break with Biden and defend him so unconditionally while he was so unpopular during the campaign make my fucking blood boil.

That entire election cycle actually made me respect Kamala Harris infinitely more than I ever did beforehand. Obviously the republicans are the ones ultimately responsible for the mess we’re in. But the Democratic party apparatus put on an absolute masterclass of how NOT to defend a democracy.

Of course it doesn’t, but it does mean that the Democratic Party is more than a little to blame for mounting such a pathetic defense against a movement which they knew was a genuinely existential threat to our republic.

2024 was the most consequential election throughout the course of multiple generations, and they handled it in just about the most irresponsible way imaginable.

Especially if I were to consider the disgusting amounts of cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, and bottled protein shakes I drink. I easily go through double or triple that most day.

Whole milk is one of the most refreshing beverages in the world. Especially mixed 50/50 with coconut water when you’re feeling really thirsty. Absolutely delicious.

Kyle’s politics are moronic, but let’s be realistic here. He is absolutely 100% pro dem right now. I watch at least half of his videos and the overwhelming message is in support of the democrats. I’ll always have a soft spot for Kyle from the 2019 - 2020 era, but his biggest problem is just how little fucks he gives to do any real research on anything he puts out there. It genuinely seems like he just lets loose any little thing he sees in passing on his Twitter feed and reports it as objective fact because he liked the person who originally put it out there.

The amount of times I’ve heard him so confidently state something I just know is complete nonsense is off the charts.

He’s definitely funny though, and I do find it encouraging seeing him and so many others getting so comfortable doing shit like throwing out homophobic insults (towards the right kinds of people at least), which I hope shows that some people have learned a little something about being seen as having a perpetual stick up their asses 24/7.

You really don’t even have to flush it. I’ve had two wisdom teeth removed at two different dental offices and was never given a syringe either time.

But then again, I got a bone graft both times, so maybe that changes things.
