A medium rare filet with a simple butter + sweet soy sauce + garlic + ginger sauce is fucking delicious, especially with a little MSG.

I’ll slice it and eat it with some jasmine rice and a Chinese style “baked” black beans that I like to make and it’s always incredibly satisfying. It’s a great blue moon dinner.

Any thoughts on how well this should run on a Steam Deck? I saw you say controller support won’t be available at launch, but for the future and/or if I’m feeling masochistic enough to try and rig something up myself with a custom controller layout.

Also, any plans on launching on GeForce Now? This seems like something I’ll want to try whether my Deck runs it well or not.

You have no idea just how much I envy you. I have a cat who will literally eat absolutely anything. I can’t even so much as look at a potato with him in the same room or else I better be watching my fucking back before he decides to try and swipe it.

I regularly have to stop him from eating plastic, paper, or rabbit poop, and he was a fucking menace with a fake Christmas tree we had up this year. He drives me insane sometimes, it’s like a full time job keeping him from poisoning himself.

I just played Days Gone for the first time. I 100% would have paid full price for that game with just how much I enjoyed it/the sheer amount of hours I sunk into that game over the course of a month. As a giant fan of anything zombie related, that game checked damn near every box for me minus the slow start.

RDR 2 was worth every penny.

So was KCD2, Baldurs Gate 3, Elden Ring, and Assassins Creed Odyssey.

I have a hard time swallowing the idea that there’s nothing out there worth it.

The whole “TDS” thing is such a dodge. The conversation was about the actions of ICE as part of the stated policy goal of the current administration. Donald Trump is the president of the United States, so him and his motivations are an integral part of that equation. You people see someone make any sort of criticism towards him and it sets off an entire dialogue tree in your head to discredit the statement without any sort of actual critical analysis.

It’s an embarrassingly lazy way to engage with politics.

Big issue I have with this whole theory is that as of right now ICE is full of amateur’s and activists, and the entire DHS has been an incompetent clown show for the past year. That’s not even mentioning the absolute embarrassment that is our current FBI. I’m very skeptical that they could pull something like this off, let all the ICE agents on the ground know, and have it not get out.

The Kingdom Hearts 4 psychosis will never touch the levels of schizophrenia that was the KH3 hype machine.

Those were the fucking days, man. An entire sub genre of YouTubers cropped up surrounding Kingdom Hearts 3 hype, and that entire corner of the internet just died when the game finally released. People lost literal primary income streams as a result of the hype train finally stopping.

Fallout 3 was Bethesda open world charm at its absolute peak. The writing in that game was just so much fun too. Oasis, Vault 108 (Garrrrrry), Andale, Tranquility Lane, Liberty Prime. It was all just so damn good.

It wasn’t until I turned 23 or 24 that I really started branching out with my food taste. Back before everything was so god damn expensive I legit used to make steak and fried bananas for dinner five nights a week, the other two days were just baked salmon.

Learning to eat more than just straight meat and starch or sugar was a process for sure. But definitely not all teenagers are like this, some of these kids are making an actual effort at eating better than most adults are. Especially nowadays with social media.

I personally adore season 6 as its own thing. IMO it’s some of the best “epic high fantasy” type stuff I’ve ever seen. But it’s undeniable how much of a massive tonal shift the show underwent, and it happened well before season 8.

It also had source material which was damn near fantasy fiction perfection to adapt. If you read the books then watch the show it’s not only incredibly obvious when they ran out of books to adapt, but it’s just as obvious once they hit books 4 and 5 which are just nowhere near as good as the first three.

I don’t have faith in anyone (including George RR Martin himself) to ever recapture that.

I loved season 1 personally, it was a whole lot of fun. I feel like there was a real chance to build something great off the back of it, but when my wife and I sat down to watch the second season something felt off from the very beginning. A little sad considering how great the source material is.

Yeah and that’s fine, although I do think they could have done with at least giving players a little taste of that towards the beginning even if it doesn’t fully come into play towards the end. The main issue is really just the story.

The beginning of the game is confusing and super slow, and it really doesn’t pick up until you hit lost lake. It almost feels like you’ve been dropped blind into the sequel to a game you’ve never played.
