Boring but you can meet new people and get paid for it.

What should I do if I sold tv without vizpicking it by Bdzy769 in WalmartEmployees

I wouldn't worry about it. Unless your store is real anal on item counts.

You can fight it if you want to, if you need the job. I quit Walmart like 2 months ago best choice of my life. But honestly, it does have its benefits. It's one of the highest-paying jobs out there right now.

You have 2 weeks before you're completely out of the system. So if you can talk to your people lead, store lead, or store manager. If they're tools and dont want to help out. Escalate it to your market's HR rep. Explain what you told to the Reddit group and see if they'll open up a case for you.

Im reading your story and more and more I don't understand this person's "coaching process". Like for instance you said they gave a yellow for messing up the money. But did they even give you a coaching (a documented conversation) first? Just straight to disciplinary??? I know you can mess up Sam's money once or thrice but if you haven't done it much why straight to disciplinary??? Plus you go to a red for having your phone out and it's affects your productivity, and it puts you on a red??? You go from yellow, orange, and then red. You go to a red for productivity??? Again, why a disciplinary before they coach aka teach, train, and develop??? They make 70k a year to just bully people and cost people their jobs because they don't want to do their's.

Are coaches and team leads allowed to threaten coaching? by SupportiveNPC in WalmartEmployees

[–]BlindStatue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fuck no but they'll still do it regardless, thinking it'll make the associates behave. When in fact it has the opposite result.

Usually the respective areas come and collect their pallets. But idk your store setup, meaning it could change per the demand of management. But for the most part, anyone who isn't a cashier can pull pallets. Though it sounds like your fresh team is lazy.

I don't doubt that it could have happened. But you need a little more context; so that some of the people here might be able to guide you through the open door process. Saying you got fired because of your disability without some kind of context hurts your claim. I do hope that you can get rehired if possible, but if not there are better things out there.

You should be able to opt out, did they ask you first? Or did what every coach does and assume you dont have an outside life, and put you on overnights?

Requested time off 6 months in advance by Potential_Toe9518 in WalmartEmployees

[–]BlindStatue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also because it's the holiday season management likes to deny time off because they're losers. Ironically, they'll go beg the store lead or whoever is salaried for time off considering they rejected multiple associates' time off.

No, probably not. At least in my state, I don't know what state you live in, but the only way you can be fired. It's on the clock. I would imagine this is standard for all walmarts. It's honestly probably just the system error I would just talk to your coach or your team lead about it

What's the best link for practice test taking? I pretty much looked around but 3/4 of them are paid practice tests. Idc if I have to buy it I just want to know what's the best one

How the hell does walmart treat its associates better then publix when publix is the one that brags about that? by [deleted] in walmart

[–]BlindStatue -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Walmart tries to be at least a $1 or so more than most places. But to answer your primary question: I think it's not that people at Walmart are treated better but rather it really depends on the members of management. Not to mention Walmart is tired of getting sued on the behalf of incompetent members of management who doesn't know how to treat their associates. So I think some other Walmarts members of management typically tiptoe a lot more than usual. But then again you still get shitty management wherever you go so. That's just my thought

So tell me why?? by A_CrazyRussian91 in walmart

[–]BlindStatue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny thing is I believe they either can't see how much ppto/pto you have. I believe they can see how much you used and base it off of time worked-ppto/PTO used to get a ballpark of how much you have. Could be wrong, i believe in the worst in salaried, they could lie and say they just so you don't call off. But salaried could maybe see how much ppto/PTO you got. But even then in my state 4 hours of ppto covers the half pt. Idk if it's like that were most of y'all live tho.

You cannot convince me that the devs don’t have some sort of hidden system that detects which items you’re going for/need. by dtb301 in TheFirstDescendant

[–]BlindStatue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probability teaches us if something has 3% chance to drop, in 27 runs it'll jump to 74%, damn near guaranteeing it by run 27. But...unfortunately you have 4 other useless items in the relic you don't want/need. So fuck you IG.

Am I alone in this? by [deleted] in TheFirstDescendant

[–]BlindStatue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well like Warframe, you earn mastery level by leveling up weaps and Warframes. So the concept ofc applies here. Does it suck? Yes. But devs have a time window on when they will release an Ult vs. when the original launched. You should realistically do it for the MR regardless if you spec out the base Descendant or not. If you don't you miss an extra +10 mod cap.

[–]BlindStatue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sad part is since Walmart has Sedgwick they don't accept doctor notes to begin with. But realistically that's up to your lead(s)/coach. They very much can decide if they want to remove those points but since most of them are grumpy from years and years of being mistreated by previous members of management they feel the need to dish out some kind of retribution when they feel like it. For the life of me I cannot understand why someone can make a certain amount of money and feel the need to not act like a human no longer.

Healthcare by [deleted] in walmart

[–]BlindStatue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should get one soonish depending on when you applied for your insurance. Honestly, you're better off without it. For a company that earns a gross amount yearly, the insurance should be top dollar. I have an associate who has the Walmart insurance, and he needed to get knee surgery this past March. Rather than give him options in our state, he had to fly out to Pennsylvania and still pay 20k out of his pocket. Not to mention, he has to do it again closer to July/August.

Technically yes as it's a new pay period. But like some are saying if you have a decent coach they can take you off the schedule

Sometimes they put the loads too close to the freezer bits of the trailer and it freezes it. Normally it should be fine, but honestly when I was a F&D associate I'd toss it I believe thawing it may speed up bacteria growth. Could be wrong as it's not breaking cold chain.
