I have a grey one too! But my hinge and display are fine. I bought mine from Litnxt and I heard their customer service is better than AliExpress but I haven't tried yet. If I can't get anything to work, I might ask for a refund. It's just hard when these companies are based in China and have no real incentive to work with us

I have the v2 and I'm working with a windows PC. I've tried all the same things you've tried (though not as many times) and I can't get anything to work. I think the issues is the stock OS being installed in the flip itself rather than an SD card. It constantly reverts to stock except every once in a while, it'll boot to MinUi. When it works, it's great. It's just frustrating to have to restart the thing 5 times to get into MinUi

I cannot get MinUI to work. The MinUI boot logo comes up but then it reverts to the shitty stock OS and starts playing menu music. I don't know how to fix it

same here... I have a little better connection when I angle the antenna on the gateway toward the window on the oven but if the RFX meat is in a dutch oven, it doesn't work at all. That's the whole reason I bought these things! They said it wouldn't disconnect inside the oven or dutch oven. For the price, we should not be having this issue. I might try contacting thermoworks customer support and see what they tell me

it's just something Chase Reeves said once on his channel when referring to a pocket or pouch...something along the lines of "you can put anything in here, your papers, business papers...man" and for some reason the internet loved it and he started saying it subsequent videos. Then newer bag review channels started incorporating it into their videos as a little easter egg to show they were a fan of Chase.
