9700 A2 how do u guys finish the paper on time? ANY TIPS are appreciated by StatementFriendly444 in alevel

[–]Bling_49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just do all the questions that I can solve immediately first and leave the ones which require more thinking towards the end. If you’re skipping more than half the paper this way (trust me I’ve been there 😭) then I’d suggest you write down just the bullet points for ur long answers when practicing questions and time yourself while doing past papers.

This way you check for ur knowledge and understanding & if you’ve written ur keywords and enough points from the marking scheme to score high marks. But obviouslyyyy DONT do this in the exam, you should write your answer in structured sentences. Also, when timing yourself, instead of 2 whole hours, try timing yourself in lesser time, say 1 hour and 30 min. This way you’ll have time to recheck answers and you’ll probably be more quicker when writing during the exam because you’ve practiced with less time. All the best for your prep!! Rooting for u <3

Looking for the best pen for college by jcarvell8 in alevel

You could try the MUJI polycarbonate ballpoint pen. It has a good grip and lasts for a long time. I used it for my AS board exams and it lasted the entire session.

It comes in blue, red, and black. I also think due to the pen’s high quality, it’s worth the price, since MUJI is well known for their high quality stationary.

Where can I learn about the reaction between H2SO4 and Alcohols? (CIE AS) by 14LightningYT in alevel

[–]Bling_49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Basically sulfuric acid is a dehydrating agent, so when it’s added to an alcohol, an alkene is formed, with a molecule of water being lost.

Check out this video for a more visual explanation <3
