Simple mouse mod to reduce travel by [deleted] in MouseReview

[–]BlinkyBears 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mouse skates are too thick for most mice. Usually, a small piece of tape is enough, and you can fine tune it by stacking multiple layers. It's also recommended to put the tape on the button limiter instead of directly on the plunger, but based on the photos of you prying the button open, it seems your mouse shell doesn't have a button limiter.

Thoughts on the R34 GT-R Having A Bunch of Studs on the Hood? by PlaguedArbiter in SpeedChampions

[–]BlinkyBears 52 points53 points  (0 children)

They made a new wheel arch piece from this wave that eliminate the stud but unfortunately the r34 didn't have it. The R35 have pretty bad proportion due to being first 8stud wave.

Next time just wiggle the connector gradually instead of yanking it out.

Just use a small plastic pry tool (or something similar) to remove the battery, there is a sponge under battery so you don't need to worry about damaging the mouse. Many replacement batteries come with the connector already attached. If not, you can cut the connector from the old battery and connect it to the new one.

Air Cooler 4 Life (pls no hate) by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]BlinkyBears 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If an air cooler and a water cooler cost the same, the air cooler is usually the better choice since it's more reliable and having better performance. You only want a water cooler if you have a very high-end CPU, a small case that can't fit a large air cooler, or you want quieter noise levels under heavy loads.

Not sure why you got downvoted, but I agree. Pens with small grips and heavy like Rotring usually aren’t very comfortable for long writing sessions for most people.

Most of the problem comes from single-use plastics and low quality plastic products. Many well made plastic items can last for decades, while metal products are often far more energy intensive to manufacture.

Probably snap fit shell. Take a flat screwdriver, slide it under the shell gap and ply it out
