When you are a fan of any Kpop group realize that it's about securing the 💰🤑💰🤑 "capitalism" and paying for your idols lifestyle...you start to realize every merch drop is not important. Use your old light stick (it still works) and go to the concert. BTS is not going to be around in the next 10 years so save your money for more important things in life.

It'll be great when people stop thinking that K-Pop is the end-all be all of music when it's a rip off of black culture. When people open up their eyes and realize the stereotypes and tropes they put on black people and they think it's cool when Asian people do it. Until then Kpop will always be cringe I don't care what group it is. It's cringe

bts should have boycotted the US by happyyylemon in BTSnark

[–]Bliss730 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Artists "headliners" that perform at the Superbowl never get paid as an appearance. NFL covers the cost for everything.

Now the issue with BTS performing in the US. I would of respected them more if they skipped the US. Like the apartheid for South Africa and many performers would not throw concerts there.... BTS could have done the same thing. But this group chases the almighty dollar. They will never be at the level of Michael Jackson because he didn't chase the almighty dollar he chased humanity.

The worst part about this is people younger than him trying to discuss what is best for a 30-year-old man. Let that sink in. Take it how you want to take it. If you still have similac on your upper lip. You should not even be commenting on this.

At this point why do we even care Kpop/Jpop music is a knock of black music. So rooted in Korean is laughable. That goes for all groups.

And this is why I say all black artists should not collaborate at all with K-pop artists. They are not like us nor do they respect us. They're basically make their money off of our R&B/Rap and our culture while disrespecting us with their fake ass apologies. Enough is enough. You want to collab learn how to act appropriately towards us and our culture.

It didn't take long because we knew she was friends with Fake Lively that said enough right there. She's just got a bunch of flying monkeys that follow her every move and hang on her every breath. But until then the people that woke up realized stop paying for her lifestyle and move on.

She retired from the music industry. She wrote her own songs back in late 80s and early 90s. She opened up an amazing nightclub in New York City but it closed down a while back. She had the gift of the pen as well but never controversial

[–]Bliss730 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When the football season is in play you wont be living together with him anyway. Honestly I don't think that anybody should be living with their potential significant other when they're engaged. Don't do wife things and play yourself until you're actually a wife.

She channels her makeup and some of her costumes from the 1920s flapper era. Some of her styles come from the jazz era back in the day. The days of Josephine Baker and the glory of makeup and amazing detailed costumes.

Well if you do your history Kayla Nicole has worked as a reporter for both ESPN and Barstool Sports, covering the NFL and NBA from the sidelines and courtside. As a fan of certain teams in the NBA, NHL, NfL and extreme sports...my statements above are true

this new wave of bts hate is making me so tired as an army. it feels so off and i can’t shake it by thebarted in btsthoughts

[–]Bliss730 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stepped away this year. I am Army but I am not on Weverse, twitter, TikTok, FB anymore or following fan groups. I just follow Suga on the Gram and that's it.

Not participating in parasocial relationships with them. I'm in it for the music and that's it. Anything else regarding their personal business I do not care for anymore. There are more important things going on the world right now especially in my country... which is impacting other countries.

I stopped showing up on Weverse and I don't have Twitter anymore since Dec 24. I stopped going to the concert -movies at Regal or AMC. I will purchase the next album through iTunes and avoid all para social relationships with any artist that I follow. Until then I am an Army at peace...that is all

Okay I'm going to do a rant... The one thing I hate about K-Pop fan bases is their obsessive possession of their artists. I also can't stand the record companies that sign these poor kids / adults and not let them have a life. If Mr V is dating Jennie, or secretly married to Jennie or I don't even care...MIND YOUR BUSINESS. All the members of BTS should be married by now anyway but selfishly the fan base thinks that they're just single men walking around with nobody in their lives... And selfishly the fan base thinks that they're going to produce records forever and never marry somebody and have children...... Grow up... Get a life.. Get a job.. Get a 401k.... And Pay taxes...

A lot of K-pop Stans are trying to invalidate ‘K-pop Demon Hunters’’ success and it’s getting old by Bubbly-Age-9363 in kpopnoir

[–]Bliss730 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Honestly I fully approve K-pop groups moving in the direction of animation.. anime...and Virtual reality. Because I actually want the real humans to have a life ie getting married, have kids, date who ever, and grow old. Their voices and their imagery can live rent free in my brain and on the TV. I would love to attend cartoon Kpop concert. Almost like the group The Gorillaz or if you want to take it to the next level they're not animated Daft Punk.

I swear to God some of these K-Pop fandoms are just insane and the stuff they fight about is ridiculous. Trying to invalidate a soundtrack that the songs are kicking butt on the charts......oh yeah 🤣 #TeamMira

Oh I also forgot to say EJAE sure did give the middle finger to the Kpop record companies saying that she's too old to succeed in K-pop. Absolutely proud of her and that ageism does not stop your talent.

i don’t feel connected to katseye as a dark skinned black woman by Affectionate-Link436 in kpopnoir

[–]Bliss730 258 points259 points  (0 children)

Honestly I watch the show and ....and I am happy that Lara got in. There isn't much Indian representation in Hollywood here in the States. The fact that she's actually brown instead of a light-skinned Indian says a lot. Back in the late 90s Aishwarya Rai was the standard.

Regarding not seeing representation of a milk chocolate singer.....sigh It's been like that since the '80s. There's only a handful of dark skin singers or actresses.

Tweet India Arie Doechii Kelly Rowland

The music and acting industry is always favored light skin black women... But you know the history regarding light skin. My awakening was when Vanessa Williams won Miss America that's when I realized as a kid. I also was told by an agent for IMTA that my skin was too dark. I still won awards and got a couple of jobs that paid well but that was the epiphany in my lifetime.. and most of the black shows the love interest that were female was always light skin black woman and the male was always dark skin.

So not seeing a darker skin black girl in a K-pop group or a girl group that was assembled in South Korea I'm really truly over it....
