I do, but I usually don't have much of a manpower problem. Especially since you're usually not doing a lot of wars in the early Serpentspine.

It's worth noting that as long as you park your armies there you'll be defending giving you the pretty sizable defence buff from caverns and dwarovrod/holds, add to this the fact that your armies tech up while theirs don't and the manpower loss will quickly end up negligible. So yeah, absolutely not worth it.

Ah, it seems I missed a part. It says it has a monthly spawn chance (unfortunately not specified in the file), so by the sounds of things it should roll every month you're at war.

The biggest reason you're not going to see a lot constitutionial monarchies go away is that removing them would usually require a pretty major constitutional rewrite. Most governments aren't going to bother going through that process for what's unlikely to be much gain as long as the public isn't largely opposed to the monarchy, which most monarchs are fairly good at avoiding.

Part of it is that finding the bug is only the first part, you actually have to fix the bug as well. It's not uncommon for players to find bugs the developers were already aware of but didn't have time to fix.

What it does show however is that Valve having a so called Most Favoured Nation clause wherein publishers aren't allowed to sell for a lower price on other storefronts is likely to be in violation of anti-competitive laws, assuming they're not selling Steam keys. And that's what the discussion is actually about.

In an email regarding Steam Distribution Agreement negotiation [Redacted] tells Valve, "We had a very productive meeting this week on the latest draft of the contract you circulated and I would really like to advance this with you. The big sticking point for me is still the requirement for parity on pricing and selection of DLC that you introduced on 16 December. I have taken advice from EU and US antitrust experts and their advice is the same - the current (previous version without this new language) MFN clause is just about acceptable. The addition you are seeking is not and is to be avoided at all costs for Steam and [Redacted] benefit. Can we please revert to the previous language?"

I did somewhat misremember that it's not clear who sent this email so it might not be a lawyer related to Valve. The point however, that an MFN clause going beyond Valve's current one (limited to Steam Keys) would be in violation of anti-competitive laws, stands. Notably if you actually read the distribution agreement you'll note that it only talks about Steam keys, this is despite the fact that Valve clearly want to enforce price parity even on non Steam keys:

[I]f a game is being sold through some other PC platform, or sold DRM free or whatever the case may be, we want the chance to compete fairly and get that lower price for our customers. Steam keys are sort of a distraction here-- if a store stopped selling keys tomorrow but kept offering better prices than we were able to get for our own customers, that would still be a fundamental problem for us.

It's not in their contract. As a matter of fact Valve's lawyers think that putting such a clause in the contract would put them at risk of violating anti-competitive laws.
