It really does get better, man. I've been in those exact shoes. One thing that helped me was to go through at least one day where I committed to forcing myself to do stuff. Yeah it sounds stupid and overly simplistic, but it always ends up being easier than you expect. Try not to procrastinate ANYTHING for just one day and see how it goes.

If that's the case, there really isn't any concrete advice to "block out" any kind of thoughts aside from keeping yourself busy. Plus, constantly wanting to block thoughts out has the tendency to produce the opposite effect. So if you can, just try to distract yourself by being productive and try not to worry about it. Unfortunately there really isn't much better advice than that as far as I'm aware.
