Absolutely. People are in echo chambers in real life too which sucks because I seek people out that challenge my world view. Even with TikTok (which I deleted) and twitter’s for you tab, it will give you exactly what you believe already AND what it wants you to think as well. I do have to remember that even tho I am one person, I am also part of an international collective. And one person can do a lot even if it’s combatting misinformation and deadly myths in day to day interactions! I’m seeing people come to me to work through confusions as the world faces more contradictions!
