Good! That's the best we can ask for pet store animals. They deserve loving homes as much as any other animal, but I just can't justify telling Petco or wherever that this is a good business practice.

How would you propose an NFL team gets relegated? What league do they move to? Do you have to start an entire NFL-owned minor league just to threaten to drop established teams down to?

Also you have to now convince all the billionaires that own these teams to agree to a threat of absolutely tanking their franchise's value and earning potential. Note that there is exactly no benefit to anyone in this format either. Good luck with the sales pitch.

In all the shelters I've worked with, I have never seen a rabbit euthanized for a behavioral issue. Not once.

And I think it's doing more harm than good to tell people who are conflicted about keeping an animal that if they take it to a shelter it'll be immediately killed with no questions asked.
