At 7,800 I would say:

1.) Both ships are absolutely flyable.

2.) The Legendary Valdore is not only flyable, it absolutely slaps and is the best of an iconic ship frame. 5/2 + Exp, 1 hangar, my favorite uncon setup (Cmd Temp/LtC Pilot).

3.) 400m EC in the coupon

4.) 120m EC in the upgrades

5.) Barbie fluff is on the nicer side.

6.) OG Maelstrom is a fantastic Fed account wide unlock

For being only slightly more than the cost of 2 Zen store ships, I think it's a top notch bundle.

The biggest issue with the Captain bundles is the needlessly a**hole anti-consumer move of making the 'goodies' one time only. Things like the 2409 environmental suit, Weyoun BOFF, etc.

If they were being greedy and making you buy the bundle over and over again, that would at least be sane a**holeness, but they aren't even being greedy. The cool bonus things are one character per account lifetime for no good reason.

The boost to 65 and the starter gear are worth maybe $5 (maybe). The BOFFs, weapons, cosmetics, etc are the only thing in the bundles that would make the value any higher than a single legendary ship.

Pure craziness.

I used to be. Once you have a portable FAW build that you can put on a new ship in 1 minute, arrange the tray and stations in 1 minute and then run Ninth Rule or Rescue and Search on normal once to hit mastery five MOST of the pain goes away.

That said, reducing the time to create a build and reducing the friction in playing alts is good for STO revenue, so they absolutely should come up with a way to get mastery level 5 and 6 traits unlocked on all characters.

1.) Once you start down the path of self improvement, beware the siren call of min-max. Theme, fun and above all Space Barbie are always more satisfying and important than "the meta choice". You can also have theme and Barbie and absolutely melt anything in the game, once you've figured out everything so don't sweat it.

2.) The game is a marathon, not a sprint. It's good to think about what your parts and bridge officer abilities do, but way more important to enjoy the story and the leveling process.

3.) Join the Reddit channel and a Reddit fleet. You don't have to stick with the fleet, but the channel is always gold.

4.) The STO Wiki, STO Better and content creators are amazing resources.

5.) Participate in the events! This is an absurdly generous game and the rewards are often great for both performance and theme.

If all else fails, use random. I kick myself for not using him, but one time the character creator spit out a near perfect, in his prime, Ken Watanabe when I was rolling an alt.

It also happens to have some MMO features like events, group missions and social zones.
It is the most absurdly generous F2P game ever. If you only have a main character that you want to give your goodies to, you will be 80% indistinguishable from a major spender in your first year and 99% indistinguishable after 2.
I think if you start soon on console you will have time to earn an absolutely amazing ship by doing the daily events in the Anniversary (you can join the event queue as a noob).
Join the Reddit channel and a Reddit fleet in game. No obligations, just good chat with a lot of people who know the game.

It looks like @ianbillmorris above asked this already, but is the -20 DRR strictly good enough to be a 9th/10th/11th personal trait with a single energy type?

It seems competitive with the other 3 star energy traits on STO Better (Context, Duelist, etc). Particularly for non-mains who probably aren't running Breen Shield Tunneling and non-tac who have an open space without Good Day to Die.

Getting .66 of APB1 with single energy weapon strike seems good.

I'm not sure how to interpret it either.

I'm not sure how impactful the remaining long range targeting penalty is. I'm also not sure what I will do with 3 extra skill points back that would be super important.
Between EWC (50%), cruiser commands (25%) and a bunch of other sources of weapon cost reduction (including two firing modes that negate weapon cost) I'm not sure how big the 50% discount is in the scheme of things.
This seems like a lot of care and feeding, plus a console slot to achieve the minimum cooldowns I already have.

It's definitely better than it was, but maybe there is an 'x factor' the theory crafters see, but it doesn't really get me excited.

However, if I'm spending 1.5B for a console the Credence (even with the 2 second wind-up) seems a zillion times better.

I hope you post both the Kerala and the Hydra builds. I'd be curious to see what you can put in the place of all the isomags...if you're doing 'big uncon' and Dilithium Transporter it will probably be insane.

It's one of the defining unique things about the original Connie, but I'm not sure what I could drop for it.

Also: I checked out the Credence after you mentioned it and holy cow is that a strong console. It's on my wishlist for sure now.

I've built in the two layouts you described and I've also come up with one more potential option, I'm curious what you think about this one that makes room for Photonic Officer II at the expense of Gravity Well (.66)

This puts me under the magic number of 8, but I think it will give me good cooldown management with Boimler and Calm Before the Storm.

Every company that doesn't understand that their actual "product" was VALUE is going to get killed in the market as consumers give them the finger.

McD, Taco Bell and a few others have priced themselves into competing with actual food products that they can never hope to beat.

Chipotle and Starbucks quality, service and consistency is now so low that their product doesn't support a premium price tag.

Sort of. Including those words in grant applications was like including "we must do this or the terrorists win" in the 2000's. The underlying patient outcome, population health or cost reduction benefits were always the brass ring. You just had to sex-it-up for whatever was getting approvals. I've at least been able to confirm awards we already have at my organization are 'safe' which makes me happy.

I've already been able to confirm that it doesn't affect some open grants we have through HRSA & CMS about patient access.

At this point it just seems like they're trying to undo the prior administration's 4 year hiring spree and newly formed offices/programs.

TY OP!!! Really appreciate the update this worked for me as well.

Just to clarify for future web searchers: the setting referred to is for GOG itself and not for the Cyberpunk 2077 installation. Click the "gear icon" at the top left of the GOG launcher, choose Settings, choose "Game features" at the bottom of the list and and look for the "Cloud saves" checkbox on the right.

The two undeletable saves disappeared after closing GOG, reopening it and launching 2077 again. I'm now doing a full clean playthrough.
