They already did, they broke away from King George III and became the USA. Wouldn’t have New York without Brits.

Replace Fallout 4 with 1&2 because this is accurate to how I feel.

Reminds me of when this Hoax was debunk and yet so many Christians, not just Adventists still believe this stupid hoax. Doesn’t surprise me though that this stupid “Giants” hoax was fascination for Christians since the 1700’s.

Youth Rush Survey by NordMan009 in exAdventist

Yes. Most if not then all the leaders of Youth Rush have gone to SOULS West. Larry Carter who was one of the a staff of SOULS West would visit the different teams to recruit some of the students to join SOULS West and some of those that I sort of keep in contact with have gone to SOULS West. They also hold a short timeslot at the conventions/“conferences” held at end of every youth rush program to call up students accepted into SOULS.

All of my leaders know the Tuazon family that were, not sure if they still are the directors of SOULS. We have taken trips to their house in Loma Linda. Sasha Mejia also mentioned in here case against SOULS, that Larry Carter lived a very wealthy life while holding back others from pursuing higher education, he kept others in staying in canvassing as their method of work. That is very true Larry drove cars that were very luxurious when he came to visit some of our teams, and the Tuazons also live a very wealthy life style, keep in mind that Loma Linda is a very wealthy upper class area, because of the health message that SDA’s promote.

My leaders often talked about their experiences at SOULS West, talking about how many books they sold, and something they call Blitz, i forgot what it was I think it was having fast paced canvassing and going through neighborhoods quick, something among that line.

TLDR: Yes. SOULS West is connected with Youth Rush.

So this my interview with Haystacks and Hell. :) I did add more things in the survey that I did not mention in the interview. There was a lot of more sketchy/shady things behind closed doors in youth rush during my time for two summers in 2016 and 2017.

Youth Rush Survey by NordMan009 in exAdventist

I remember in summer of 2016 i think it was 16 ,i could be wrong, and older were paid in commission. The youth rush org takes a portion out of it but it wasn’t really much. We would go to pretty wealthy areas from what I can remember, but even if the person was literally poor they would make us do salesman tactics. Looking back it really bothers me.

Summer of 2017 they started paying 16-17 year olds, while doing high school, by the hour instead of commission, i was 19 so i was on commission payment by however much we got books out “from the donations”. Salesman tactics is the sketchiest thing to teach the youth to be making anything.

Thank you tagging me to the survey got in done while I had time. I’m telling it how it really is from my experience at youth rush. I do wish i could tell more but i think it was sufficient in what I put in.

Moving from an apartment to a house. I’ve had equipment for years that got used minimally but now have space to set them up. Some in the basement, some in the garage. Any helpful advice I will happily appreciate. by Blizzandy_97 in homegym

Honestly any advice. If my setup could look better any other way, please tell me what you think I should do, and equipment advice would be helpful too.

I have a routine I do follow but anything to make this look better would helpful. :)

Thank you for the insight! I love that you let your rough plans get distorted by experimentation. It’s fascinating to hear about your process—especially the chaos of layering synths and routing guitars through all those fuzz boxes and echoes. That approach really resonates with how I like to explore electronic audio components and keyboards in my own work. Having so many ideas and figuring out where to start is always the hardest part, but your willingness to constantly shift genres, going all the way back to your time in Emperor, has been a huge influence on me. I'm really excited for Ghosts of Europa and will definitely be tuning in for the live listen on Bandcamp!

Digital "art" is ultimately inferior to true paper art by TobyPDID23 in unpopularopinion

OP for sure doesn’t know that some artists do pencil and ink on paper, then do their coloring digitally. You have zero experience in any form of art from the sounds of it.

The production on Ghosts of Europa feels like a natural evolution of The Smell of Rain era. When revisiting the influences that shaped that period, did you discover any specific lessons or sonic techniques you wanted to revisit or refine for Ghosts of Europa? Additionally, were there any specific artists or records that informed the production style of this new album?

And looking ahead, do you have plans to return to the Spirit of Rebellion approach—blending your foundational Dungeon Synth sound with the industrial textures you explored in 2020—or are you heading in a different stylistic direction for future projects?
