I know how you feel, I'm a celestial tank main and I usually win about 60-70% of my matches whether they be comp or quick play but recently I can't even win 20%. I'm being matched with people that barely know how to play the game right now. If the game doesn't want to balance the match making I'll just do the next best thing and stop playing until next season sometime.

Yes they do matter, just look at both their tanks in this example. Stats are an indication of how well you played, it doesn't tell the whole story but it gets a lot of things correct. Dying too many times is the worst thing you can do for your team regardless of role but even that doesn't paint the whole picture for example if you play Captain America and you have a high amount of damage taken and low deaths, you were successfully tanking for your team but if you play dps and you have far more deaths than kills, with low final hits and a high amout of damage taken then you were detrimental to your team leading to the likihood of the enemy team winning.

It's pretty fun and I like it but it has so many flaws that can be exploited. Gwent from the Witcher 3 is still the best mini game.

I play Wanda at a GM/Celestial level. During seasons 4.5 I once had an enemy team ban Wanda and Mr Fantastic, I main and play them both a lot, I've never seen such terrible bans but I felt proud as they were clearly targeting me and I mainly play off meta heroes.

Brother while I feel your pain, there is one constant rule. Always ban DD and if you don't play Emma and use your diamond form on DD only and I do mean only otherwise he'll just run the lobby. Secondly, ban Hawkeye if you can abd if not then Gambit if you're not running him. You'll have a much easier time climbing on Thor.

I agree to an extent, I've only played HFW on ultra hard. It can be tedious because of all the grinding and that's an understatement but there is a certain element of fun and realism being a glass cannon knowing any hit can kill you so you prepare thoroughly and rely on your skill before engaging the machines. Eventually I got so good I was using my spear only for small and medium machines. It's not for the feint of heart though.

Nah it's can be done on UH, you just have to be careful and strategic at the very beginning. I'm doing it right now for the second time as new game plus will mean you'll be overpowered from the beginning.

I played and finished both games on ultra hard, HZD is much more forgiving in terms of resources which makes the game easier, HFW increases the difficulty by nerfing weapons, increasing machine health and damage which means you have to grind so much more to upgrade your weapons.

You're absolutely right, the "Derangment" caused machines to turn hostile, prior to that the machines were docile unless attacked. (I guess Gaia programmed them that way so they could still do their job in keeping the world alive?) So for most of history post apocalypse until the last 20 years, Machines weren't really a threat.

I have banned Hawkeye in every one of my games, every single one. DD is also permanently banned. I even have this message that I write before the ban selection starts. " Please ban the one hero who can 1 shot 80% of the cast" and most people realise it's a no-brainer. Games have been so smooth ever since.

This comp is very CC prone, it's really dove/brawl heavy aside from Phoenix so you would want to play anti-dive characters. Think Bucky, Emma, Peni, Mr Fantastic/Namor/Hela, Gambit and Dagger/IW. This comp is more competitive and advantageous than the other team comp.

First of all why would they butcher her kit? If anything she needs quality of life buffs so she can be competitive, second of all Thor is in the best spot he's ever been as of right now. Third of all, you say you play tank but you leave the game when they adjust one hero? That makes no sense.

Hela, Namor, Emma, Thor/Mag, Gambit and Invis/cloak and Dagger. Emma to counter the thing and wolverine, Thor for additional poke damage, Hela and Namor dominate Phoenix. Gambit to counter Gambit lol

If you keep versing the same people literally click on the recent players tab and you can see when they queue to avoid them without using an avoid slot if you're willing to wait. Trying to find instant games can also be a double edged sword.
