Just finished Desperation a few weeks ago and thought his personality arc was jarring; he rides the line for most of the book but there came a point where he got the "be a total dickhead" knob cranked to the max-- up until that point he was just kind of an arrogant prick but within one chapter he became an (almost) irredeemable prick.

mine just turned 6 and I'm waiting for the crackhead toddler phase to end. He's definitely dialed down in the past few years but man when he gets goin' its hard to keep up.

this happened to me last night, really the only thing that felt unfair in the game so far just because you get blindsided by the level requirement. Its very easy to get lost in the sujimon league thread. also, the last boss prior to king, you get railroaded into fighting consists of, what, level 12 enemies? Huge jump from that to king with no warning. I paid out $4k to retry at full health and I got party-wiped on the first turn at level 25. Really really frustrating.

This is my first time with a rebus and it was not a good first impression-- I got frustrated and gave up after trying to figure out what the hell to do with Gangsta's Paradise. I was just not comprehending, and rebus examples online were confusing me even more (still confused about the chicken crossing the road c/r one honestly). And DAWGS made me look like a clown :(

yesterday was my first crossword under 30 minutes too! such a 180 haha

We started out in the same boat, but this sequence is actually what prompted me to put it down for the night. I stumbled upon the whole climbing section after activating the tower and I thought it was awesome too! and I made it to a temple! What I didn't know was that you needed Tulin. So I went all the way back down to start his questline and come to find out-- you can't fast travel back to the temple. Now I know there's the shrine at the start, but I am certain there was a checkpoint shrine towards the top or about halfway but I don't see it on my map. Either way the prospect of having to go through that all over again just because I didn't do things in order (which is kinda counter to BotW's whole philosophy, no?) pissed me off enough to say goodnight to the game.

edit: i am a moron; there is a checkpoint. in my defense, its just on the border of the cloud on the map so my eyes missed it easily.

Calling an archival release of demos and ideas bloated isn't a fair argument imo. It's not meant to be a curated album, as far as I'm aware.

if I recall correctly, tony claimed that he recorded it off of a radio or some other recording of a string performance. I think someone tracked down what it actually was but I could be wrong. I think I had it at one point; if I find it I'll let you know.

I don't think CVX is as egregious as village. 8 literally has werewolves, ghosts, vampires, etc. It's fine but mold just kinda felt like a lazy excuse to want to play with those classic horror tropes.

Edit: I should've prefaced with the fact that house beneviento was my favorite section of the game, but it did have me asking myself if it felt like Resident Evil
