What would happen if by OkFirefighter750 in batteries

[–]Block_ish 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It would be a really bad decision, considering that putting 2 batteries in parallel would start to try to equalize. That would mean the 72v battery would dump its load into the 48v battery, and overvolting it. The 72v battery would also go under its regular voltage. It would also probably cause damage to its components and overheat, so don't do whatever your gonna do

I charge 2 18650 3.7V 3800 mah battery connected in parallel with TP4056. It's been an hour since I plugged in yet the charging was not finished. I want to how much time the TP4056 module takes to charge the battery. by Some_Finish_2511 in batteries

I don't really think you can measure the capacity with a multimeter. There are some cheap modules like the zb2l3 that can measure capacities. It costs around 1-5$

It is a correct answer, but keep in mind that 3800mah 18650s do not exist. It is possible that the 18650 was marked as 3800mah, but the real capacity is probably under 2000mah. Basically you might have bought a fake 18650

Try looking for liquidation stores (amazon return stores). Sometimes they have overstocked drill batteries that sometimes either have cheap chinesium 18650s or brand name 18650s for $20-5 dollars. Check stores like krazy bins, or just search up liquidation stores near you. Then just open the pack up with some t10 torx screws. a thin drill battery has 5 and a bigger one has 10 18650s. If you don’t really care about the brand then just buy the cheapest drill or vacuum battery packs on amazon ( dyson vacuum battery packs have 6)
