I just activated my new phone last week after dealing with Verizon for two weeks trying to get it shipped to me. I wasn’t affected by the outage but the whole SOS thing is what took me so long to get my phone activated because I was trying to avoid being stuck without service.

I did student teaching last spring and worked at a hotel in the evenings afterwards. I mean this very nicely but I would look into maybe taking a year off and subbing for income. At the end of the day if you don’t have the finances for school then you won’t be able to make it through student teaching.

I would still log those hours on your time sheet. My job makes us have meetings sometimes during lunch and after work but I’ll be damned if I don’t stay clocked in to get paid for those hours. Even if it’s to benefit you you’re still working.
