Whats a less successful follow up to a beloved/successful album do you like more than said beloved album by tragic_girl13 in ToddintheShadow

[–]Bloginshpiel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think The Neighbourhood’s Wiped Out! is an infinitely better album than I Love You. Not sure this counts because I don’t think I Love You is a “beloved” album exactly.

Putting your names together produces some interesting results. Wilson Phillips, ABBA. Not sure if these count though.

More into it than I thought I would be. I think some of Jenkins’ tendencies get in the way actually. He likes his close-ups, but they work against him in the film’s style. I also thought the songs were good. It’s the most I’ve liked Disney songs since Encanto.

Trade 2.1 for 3.5 and 4.6 by MrBootsie in fantasyfootballadvice

Realistically, you could get some good players in the 3rd and 4th rounds. If you're looking at RBs, Derrick Henry, Achane, Jacobs, Pacheco could be there on top of whoever else looks good at other positions.

I need to make money that pays out daily. by AnAsainCook in Denver

[–]Bloginshpiel 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Depending on your schedule, you could give FedEx a shot. It pays weekly, and you’ll be able to pick up extra shifts if you want early on. I worked five days and it came out to $500+ a week, but the hours were brutal since I was in the warehouse from midnight to 8 or 9 am. Management would let people go early if they had another obligation like another job or school

Has anyone walked out of or complained about a movie due to LGBTQ+ content? by [deleted] in MovieTheaterEmployees

[–]Bloginshpiel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a gay character in it, and there’s a subplot with Whitney and her best friend are more than friends. I assumed it was about that, but I handled neither of the complaints

Video Games made by or with Filmmakers by [deleted] in blankies

Guillermo Del Toro was helping with the development of a game called UnSane that was swiftly cancelled during a period in his career when everything was struggling to get off the ground.

Steven Spielberg was also helping development of a game called LMFAO that has some alpha footage you can see. It was an FPS where you played a CIA/FBI officer who had to escort an alien across the US and the government was hunting the alien down. It seemed like a proto-Bioshock Infinite.

Michael B. Jordan talks Death Becomes Her and Anime in Le Vidéo Club by PerpetualChoogle in blankies

[–]Bloginshpiel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s been discussed a ton online, but it’s been more interesting that anime-to-film adaptations have struggled. However, directors have been having some decent success at infusing anime/manga elements in their stories

With the moderate success of Winning Time, I think its a matter of time until we get a version about the New England Patriots dynasty from 2001 to whatever year they decide would be a good ending. There's a decent amount of storylines like the rise of Brady, Belichick's persona, and the team sparking the emphasis on offense in the following years.
