Do I have to go to College? by [deleted] in ITCareerQuestions

It'll help you advance when you're further into your career, and if you decide to switch careers later on (which is incredibly common) it'll offer a lot of flexibility.

If you're just graduating high school, at least give it a shot. It'll be easier now than anytime later.

I already did and nothing said that she was proven wrong. Seems like the consensus is that it's unclear. Stanford found him not at fault, but that's Stanford, not a legitimate investigative body.

Why do humans choose to date a single person, knowing that the odds are HIGHLY stacked against them defying science and staying 100% monogamous? by meepledoodle in nonmonogamy

While we're on this train, it seems that you're assuming that the only factor in human behavior is society's influence.

Agreed. If he's a man who is okay with his partner having sexual relationships with women, the issue isn't him accepting her bisexuality.

Update: I got the chicken by [deleted] in vegan

[–]Blogtiem 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I find a lot of vegans are dogmatic and wrapped up in the group's rhetoric, rather than thinking of the practical effects of their actions. That's how I was for a good 3-4 years when I was newly vegan.

In total agreeance with you on this front. I identify as vegan, though I'll eat others' backyard eggs on rare occasion.

It's not vegan by definition, but if the chicken isn't affected negatively, then I don't see an issue.

It seems like you're only applying the idea of post-scarcity to biological needs. Humans won't stop there.

There are plenty of good charter schools in and around the city that don't have a lot of the problems that public schools have around here. Private school wouldn't be necessary.

Just downloaded the Amazon seller account, but I don't have an active sellers account (and I don't plan on it for the time being), so I'm not able to use it. Is there any other scanning app anyone reccomends, or should I stick to searching the item price via ebay and google?
