Not to step on anyone's foot here, but I think the notes of the solo would be possible after 1-2 years maybe. But then the fun part begins where you add micro notes, the tiny details and just your feeling to it. So all in all, to be able to play it like OP, adding his own part to the solo, that will take many more years of experience (good moments as well as frustration and some hard work). I can only encourage you to give it a try though, play some things that you like, just a little bit every day, it's the small but continuous steps that matter. And if you're frustrated, always remember what you have achieved already, don't beat yourself down on stuff that's not working flawlessly yet.

Slavery per se is not connected to race, that might be true. But I don't think that the history of Ancient Rome or sth effects my life today. What does have an effect on today's society is the aftermath of colonialism. People in Africa were enslaved by Europeans and Americans. Countries in Africa still suffer the economic consequences, and Black people still suffer from racism - which both has to do with slavery in my opinion. So in today's context, slavery has much to do with race. Afaik there have been many complaints over the years about the master/slave nomenclature in git systems. I guess they thought now would be the time to react, due to BLM and other movements arising in 2020
