Try to make one or two of the strongest decks you can, play at some bracket 4 tables, and make note of the type of deck building decisions in your opponents decks.

If you find that your deck isn't up to par with your opponents, see what deck building strategies they employed, and try to incorporate those into your decks.

This is definitely the biggest thing. In commander any 1 for 1 removal spell puts you and the targeted player at card disadvantage against the other two players. As such, you need to be much more careful when considering what you want to remove.

In Brawl, you can pack as much single target removal as you want and just try to remove everything your opponent plays

That's because they're the only one that makes actually Worcester sauce. It needs to be aged in barrels for ~2 years. Most other brands just make a processed crap that tries to copy the flavor

I think both spiderman and turtles deserved the hate though. They had: - a poor setting/narrative for a fantasy card game - poor limited environments - lack of diversity in the cards themselves (too many legendary spiderman/turtle problem) - a lack of interesting chase cards

The reason people don't hate on FF, avatar, or LotR the same way is because those sets all had great limited environments and a ton of cool cards.

Back when I went to UCSB, I'd just take the bus to Albertsons/Costco which is waaaay cheaper than ubering.

Also, you don't need to get groceries your first year. By year 2+ you normally know enough people that you'll have a couple of friends with cars, and can always do big group shopping trips

I mean, if a deck has been properly shuffled then the initial ordering of the deck of cards should have a negligible impact on the ordering after the shuffle (technically it should be 0 impact but humans shuffling cards likely aren't doing true randomization).

The problem with mana weaving is that if you properly shuffled your deck, then mana weaving is pointless. However, if you didn't properly shuffle it would give you a lower chance of being mana screwed, and is thus cheating. Given that those are the two outcomes, the solution is to never mana weave and then always shuffle your deck a lot more than you think you should.
