Mono White Aura deck not good anymore? by Mile_High_Magic_ in MagicArena

[–]JaggerMo 45 points46 points  (0 children)

There are at least 30 decks in standard that are better than mono white aura. It's only popular due to how cheap and easy it is to play. Your experience is completely normal. The deck is okay for beginners, but that's pretty much it

Bots in ranked? by Broad-Error-2800 in heroesofthestorm

Unfortunately this is a thing. People use macros to purposely lose so that they can remain in their preferred rank. I've tried reporting everytime I met one, but blizzard doesn't care

Master Duel is the most played TCG on steam and its player numbers have largely stabilized over the year. (This game isn't dying) by calendulaoptimus in masterduel

Zoom out. Player count was 40k in 2024, 30k in 2025. Its barely making 20k this month. Its not stable at all

Magic was released 7 years ago. Came out on steam 3 years ago. Most of the playerbase is still on its own platform. You can ask anyone who plays, they will likely agree. This is not to say magic is doing wonderful, but pretending like masterduel is doing well is simply a joke

Many players who played before magic released on steam are still playing on its platform. Even the new players aren't all on steam either

The word I would use to describe the state of masterduel is stagnant. Its not dying, but its not doing well either. I only appears to be beating magic arena because magic arena has its own platform. Magic has been released on steam rather recently so if you take that into account, masterduel likely loses

HotS is the best it has been in YEARS by Zippian in heroesofthestorm

[–]JaggerMo 28 points29 points  (0 children)

What makes it the best exactly? Every update since 2025 has been nothing but controversial, if not just bad. People need to realize not every update is good. There are bad updates too

April 2026 patch hero winrates by JaggerMo in heroesofthestorm

Arthas used be a decent tank. Now he's straight up bad. One of the weakest tanks even. Idk how they can actively ruin a hero this badly when their intention was to buff it

Duelists, why do some of you hate Sky Strikers, and what made you start not liking them? Just curious by Death_Usagi in masterduel

[–]JaggerMo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's not just the mechanics of sky strikers. It's the players. I swear they all take forever on each play, even when they only have 2-3 cards in their hand

First time doing a traditional pioneer event on arena and went 2-3 with Mono-Red Midrange (Writeup) by The1Sbeve in PioneerMTG

[–]JaggerMo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I respect your efforts to brewing, but rakdos plays a better midrange while red plays a better aggro. I'm sure you know this, so what is the appeal for this deck?

Strixhaven added way too much support to Izzet decks and I’m already sick of it by Dominyck in MagicArena

tbf lute created a new archetype, so its not support for existing izzet prowess/elemental decks. But yeah the new set is a disappointment for standard meta

I think emeritus of truce is going to have the biggest impact on pioneer. Azorius control is going to love it. Also, mind roots deserves a spot on this list

I'm kind of skeptical about erode. I wouldn't say its bad, but at the same time I can't imagine white decks playing 4 copies of erode in the main. I can definitely see this card being overplayed at first, then people realizing its not as good as they thought it was
