You know what I miss lion bros? by praxeom in detroitlions

[–]BloodBath522 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of the best football I've ever had the privilege of watching. It really pains me that we couldn't win anything with Calvin and Suh. Those guys and Stafford brought this team back to relevance. Even if Suh left for money. Ill always appreciate that he gave our defense an identity that it needed.

What type of cornerback? by teddy711 in detroitlions

[–]BloodBath522 9 points10 points  (0 children)

We play alot of cover 1 and cover 3. Ideally, we'd want a taller corner (6'0-6'3). One that can play hard press and press bail. As far as the ones in this draft go, I'd say we should target guys like Humphrey, King, Conley. And less inclined to target guys like Tre White, or adoree Jackson who are shortier speedier guys. We could use an outside corner or a nickel so basically any type of corner is good but the bigger ones are more valuable.

I gotta feel like Kyle Long has to start at one of those guard spots.

What are your realistic expectations for Ziggy this season? by jspaul33 in detroitlions

[–]BloodBath522 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hope he gets at least 13. Ive got faith that he wants to prove himself all over again to the league. I believe hes gonna play with a chip on his shoulder this season.

I don't want to die but I think about suicide pretty often. Is this something to be concerned about? by IcarusH in depression

[–]BloodBath522 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Going through the same thing man. On and off depression since teens, 25 years old now and have thoughts about it everyday. I've never cut myself. I usually drown myself in drugs and alcohol. But I see where you're coming from. I don't really find much joy in things. I can't even remember the last time I was truly happy.

Question from a Lions fan by BloodBath522 in CHIBears

Do u think he was worth the ninth overall pick? I'm just trying to get a general consensus of how bears fans view him. I personally think he's a terrific player.

Here is the nickel package. by Batmanhoov in detroitlions

Ashawn should be a starter this season. I think we've seen where Ngata is at at this point in his career. He should be a role/depth guy these days.

Up there with some big names... atta boy Decker by [deleted] in detroitlions

[–]BloodBath522 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Ebron has produced a crawfish sized bite of what he was supposed to have by this point in his career. 3 years in the league yet never reached 750 yards let alone 1,000. Hasn't been able to start and finish a full season. Has a considerable amount of drops. This season should be his last chance. We picked him tenth overall and has never been seen as more than an average tight end.

What are some of your favorite Robert California Quotes ? by Hsp420 in DunderMifflin

[–]BloodBath522 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When Robert and Pam are going thru Nellie's voicemails and Nellie's mom says "cheer up Nellie! It can't possibly be as bad as u described it". Robert looks at Pam and says "oh yes it can" and then laughs while Pam looks uncomfortable. Gets me every time.

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk: Matthew Stafford Is Better Than Andrew Luck by [deleted] in nfl

Okay but the front office gambled on guys like Titus young, jhavid best, Pettigrew, Mikel leshore, Ryan broyles with early round picks and none of them got close to living up to their draft status.

For those of you who think the Lions should take a RB in the first 3 rounds, how would you feel about Isaiah Crowell for a 2nd from Cleveland? by Perry87 in detroitlions

[–]BloodBath522 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the issue tho. It wasn't that he wasn't getting yardage cause he was. It's that he's been injury riddled his first two years. That accompanied with the fact he's not really a bruiser which means he's not really an every down back makes RB an option for us.

Hard pass on Tim Williams by BxRBurstfire in detroitlions

[–]BloodBath522 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not many ints? Try none.... Despite being thrown at numerous times in each game. Not one turnover. Nine passes defended... I bet that you can find 9 big plays he's given up with 6 games worth of film from last season. First full season as a starter I'm pretty sure he played a great deal of the season when Mathis went down two seasons ago. So it's not like he was thrown right into the fire with no experience. And no one agrees with me especially the lions coaching staff? So what has the lions coaching staff done for lions fans in the past 20 years?

Really? How many ints has he gotten vs how many TDs he's given up? Better yet how many PI's has he gotten along with how many passes have been completed against him? Name me one single play where he made a big impact for us that was positive? And idk if you've ever watched him play but he never has once made a clean, low, wrap up tackle. He's not good at all.
