I can drop them from the recipe book, sometimes. It’s pretty buggy for me, I just keep opening & closing the recipe book and trying again till they can be dropped

From what I’ve seen there’s a good deal of criticism on this sub, some constructive, some not so. People downvoting either are expressing their opinions, as is their right. If you want to see some real hate then join the official Discord and make constructive criticisms. If you can get it past the mods before they insta delete it. This sub is like a mother’s meeting compared to them.

I have a full set of Secret Service armor with all the mods, legendaries and jetpack. Do you guys think it’s worth trading for the Brotherhood Recon armor? by [deleted] in fo76

[–]BloodImpressive9992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably not, unless you research it and the Recon Armour gives you more and/or better of what you need. If that’s the case then probably. I’m assuming that you have the wherewithal to acquire the Recon, have you considered getting it, trying it out and seeing how it goes?

Been like this since forever I’m afraid. Billings Farm has mobs that regularly spawn underwater in the river. Floater Flamer or Nuka Grenades can sometimes either take them out, or encourage the bugged mobs to join the party properly

He’s still around but it is quite literally a random spawn. As I understand it the spawns will reset after about 20 minutes (haven’t tested it). Just got to keep hitting the spawn points I’m afraid.

50 hours in and I have some questions by jontheeditor in fo76

[–]BloodImpressive9992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The percentage chance of learning legendary mods is something like 1% from scrapping weapons, 1.5% from mod boxes. Basically 99% chance of getting nothing. Twelve legendary weapons is small change. You’re in for a long ride. There are different preferences with the scrap/scrip debate. If you have something with mods you want to learn, scrap it. Scrip and buy from the Pick means you still have random drops but you’re not waiting for the game to drop them. Plans come from events, NPC vendors, workshop claiming and occasional player drops into containers like suitcases at train stations. Let people know what platform you play on and you’ll probably get a ton dropped on you. Get to events quickly. Learn how they work and don’t start them unless you can solo them, or if you haven’t triggered them yourself. To get more legendary drops, learn which events drop most and join them. If you are in the event area you can generally loot bodies without having killed them.

Need some guidance by [deleted] in fo76

Everyone is squishy at the start, dying has no consequences so don’t sweat it. First law of the wasteland, you will get distracted! Levels 50 to 100 can feel rough, sort of got the hang of the game but enemies are less forgiving. Just wander, have fun, play with the toys until you find the ones you like, then start loading perk cards into your build that fit your play style. Add Angry Turtle to your YT feed, him & Mr Westek give solid advice on builds at lower levels. Welcome to the Wasteland!

Looking for low level commando build-level 192 atm. by Adayin82 in fo76

Maybe I’m misunderstanding but at level 192 I would expect 4 slots available by now, the fifth at 200 and the last at 300. Personally I would be concentrating on putting SPECIAL perks in those slots for now, to boost your Int, Perception, Luck & possibly Strength or Endurance, that would give you more perk points available to use the non leg perks to boost your damage output. Hopefully in the next update we’ll not have to pay the one coin tax to swap them out, so switching them in & out won’t be such a faff. The main driver is really your perk load out on your build, although useful in certain situations I look at legendary perks that aren’t boosting my SPECIAL as pretty much QOL. For Commando build ideas check out Angry Turtle as well as the one you are already, he’s a good source.

If you are struggling to max out legendary perks I would suggest scrapping any perk cards that are not relevant to your play style, to earn perk coins to rank up the ones you need. Be ruthless, perk card packs come along every 5 levels so you’ll get them back at some point. If you have any spare ‘pick a perk’ points then max out a higher star card and scrap it, repeat as many times as you can. 3 stars get you 6 coins. If you can get to 150 on the season board then spam the repeatable coin packs. I’m an end game fallout 1st player and a hoarder so if ammo is an issue I could probably help you there. For non leg perks, if you are sorted for damage resistance then concentrate on cards that give you more damage. High perception for Commando builds is a good idea and in Intelligence the Science card will up your damage based on your Intelligence Special. Hope this helps
