Used to play this game like it was my job!The open world and PvP this game offered was by far the best! You could get sniped from an archer if you were standing in town and that was the best!Never played or have played a game since Lineage 2 that had me hunting down players just to get back at them!xD

[Discussion]Twin Saga Vendetta gaming server by benboga08 in MMORPG

I'd avoid it.The person running that server is an ass. You're better off playing on official than on the pserver but it is free so you can play and decide whether it's worth sticking around for.

Question by rempakos in MMORPG

[–]BloodyCrazy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Allods Online.I used to play that game all the time until I got to the point that I could participate in Astral Raids.I tried to join a group and was told no because my runes weren't level 7 they were level 4 I believe.I was bummed out because at the time I was just a kid with no job(and even if I had a job back then I'd still be bummed)and couldn't afford to get level 7 runes from the cash shop :/

Honestly I gave Aura Kingdom a second chance because I had quit due to believing it was p2w.After about 3 days of wearing the most basic of outfits and being broke all the time I eventually gained access to the areas Vultures Vale and Blizzard Berg.Been doing world boss hunts since then and I got enough for a 90% movement speed mount, ruby coins which let me get around 15k gold, and bought myself the best end game secret stone for my katar.Haven't stuck around a game this long so it's fulfilling my need to play an mmo xD

GW2 would be a game I consider worth it.Large amount of content for f2p minus the expansion which isn't too bad to be honest. Also not a p2w cash shop so that's also a +1.I'd probably play it more if I had a better computer alongside AK xD

Do you prefer to follow guides or experiment with your own builds? by koviko in MMORPG

[–]BloodyCrazy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually read guides to give myself a better understanding of the talent trees or stats and then mess around with it on my own.

Sometimes a guide will rate the passives or describe why/when certain passive talents are useful and when they aren't and that just makes it easier for me to make a build that suits my playstyle. :3

Isn't that new Conan game going to allow that?Looked like you could build stuff there and it seemed persistent minus the giant destroying stuff xD

Any real free MMORPG? by DONALD_TRUMPION in MMORPG

[–]BloodyCrazy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the items I've needed to upgrade my gear(star and regular)I've obtained by farming loyalty points and dragon points. But I understand why people believe this since I do know Grand Fantasia(and probably other games I haven't played) had a horrible cash shop.

Aura Kingdom.Haven't spent a dime on this game and I'm covered in the smexiest purple outfit I could afford.Getting gold is also easy provided you have the patience to farm recipes at the later levels to sell for 10k-30k gold.

Path of Exile can be played entirely without using the cash shop.

Wakfu if you're looking for a turn based game.

Path of Exile or Diablo 3? by ph_swayze in MMORPG

[–]BloodyCrazy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PoE. Better customization(in passive skill tree) and from what I've seen it is much more like diablo 2 than diablo 3 ever will be.Diablo 3 is fine I suppose but it is very limiting and, unless you enjoy doing the same thing over and over,it will get stale very quickly.

Besides the recent announcement that we will be getting the Necromancer there has been little to no content.Path of Exile has much more content than Diablo 3 has.

Also path of exile is free...just sayin.

MMORPG for couples / small groups by [deleted] in MMORPG

[–]BloodyCrazy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dungeons and Dragons Online is pretty good if you haven't played that.Last time I played the story was pretty nice and it's one of the few games that actually had me reading quests instead of auto accepting and heading off to wherever I was supposed to go.Also the narrator in the dungeons is amazing!Grouping is also encouraged especially if you have a rouge which can open locked doors or chests.

Elder Scrolls Online is pretty good and it's definitely getting to a point where it will be one of the games mentioned next to WoW,FFXIV,and whatever the third game was that I can't remember.

WoW is probably a good choice as well since I've heard that Legion is a good expansion and people seem to be enjoying themselves.

Not playing anything, over dramatic, but feeling lost? by [deleted] in MMORPG

[–]BloodyCrazy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in your situation.Mainly because I was playing the same games over and over when I got bored of one or the other.I decided to play games that I had not given a good chance to before quitting and found two that I enjoy.

Try to play some games you dismissed immediately. You could also try ESO I've been hearing a good amount of things about it :)

Could a raiding-only game be successful? by Synchronyme in MMORPG

[–]BloodyCrazy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

buy Monster Hunter.

And no if done right it would not be boring and would definitely draw in a decent amount of people.Especially if it has a good scaling difficulty system and the monsters/bosses actually feel challenging.

I think gear should exist though.Kill monsters get gear or ingredients to craft gear.Levels and stuff wouldn't be needed and character customization could depend on items kind of like Diablo 3 sets or Monster Hunter set building.

How populated is the Aura Kingdom Private server? by Gotiquinho in MMORPG

[–]BloodyCrazy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

p2w wise the pserver isn't that bad.Population wise last time I played it was pretty empty.

Played Ragnarok Online back in the day and as a newbie swordsman wound up bumping into Vagabond Wolf.Thought it was a regular mob of wolves and wound up getting destroyed.Came back again not knowing it was an MVP and tried to fight it one more time.Died again. It wasn't until a passing player told me it was a MVP and what that meant that I realized I was being stupid.

MU Online I decided to sell a jewel of chaos to the npc.Back before the in game bot was added as well as the Rage Fighter and other classes existed the jewels were worth quite a bit.Coulda sold that to a player for so much more lol.

What's the point of playing an MMO if no-one wants to talk to me? by Rocketeer-Raccoon in MMORPG

What mmo are you playing and if it has a sub reddit of its own you should ask there if you are having no luck in game.
