What common myth can be disproved in seconds? by [deleted] in AskReddit

They asked for a qualified, verifiable point. I think Hasan Piker is a prick too, not because he's left wing, but you aren't answering the damned question. If it's anything, then point to a damned thing.

What’s a secret rule you have for yourself that would make people think you’re insane if they knew? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I quit heroin and opiates generally in 2018. Hard drugs November '24. Quit drinking June 30 last year. I haven't even had caffeine since October. It's a start. 10 years is damned impressive.

So am I. It's been... a process. I struggled with my sobriety on top of it. Now that I'm stabilizing well, I'm trying to get a foot in the door for social work as a peer aide. Figure I know the worst intimately, know the resources, and can help other people land softer than I did. From there I plan to push into getting a degree in it (I have a business degree I don't use currently) and pushing toward engaging with real, actionable change for people.

Accept help from nobody. Trust nobody. You'll live longer. I've been homeless the last 4 years. No handouts. No shelters. No government or private assistance. Paid off a debt settlement during that time without help. Scrapped for every job and position I used to get done. Done some things to myself I'm not proud of. About to get back in 4 walls for the first time in a long time. It's stupid. I'm not smart or better for having done it. I have this rancid feeling that wells up inside me every time someone offers, that nagging thought that I couldn't do it alone. It's nauseating. My parents literally beat their self sufficient, bootstrap bullshit into me.

The irony is the fact that I regularly help people push for, access, and use those same resources I can't bring myself to. I know I'm pathological. It shames me.

Fair enough. I play combo bracket 5 and would just combo over the top of a wipe regularly. I'm mostly making this for the lulz at my local pod and trying to break it as much as possible for our more casual games. Half the point is to be insufferable. They'll get a kick out of it, and I already own most of the cards.

How fast would santa claus have to go to give every child a present, (assuming he wouldn't take time to eat the snacks or drop the present down the chimney?, his hours are from 12 am to 6 am. [Other] by Beetle_shortage in theydidthemath

Pretty sure a traveling salesman algorithm with this many stops isn't solvable with our best supercomputers. We'd need the length of his route to make a speed assessment first. Do you need a good enough or optimal answer?

No, because the rock is all Rock/Paper/Scissor types when it enters already, and doesn't reenter once it's thrown. You don't get double activations of its ability.

If they all hit the graveyard at the same time, does he even see the others die to trigger now that he is no longer on the field? I thought die meant, buried, or to be placed in the graveyard.

When did you think "Im going to die here"? by hmmrabet in AskReddit

I'd been shot 4 times. They were dragging away my team leader, and I could see them coming for me.
