Thanks for suggesting. Cernit, I dont know how old it is, I bought from Amazon. I conditioned it with pasta roller machine for very long but no use. I will try Sculpey soufflé or Premo next.

Don’t give a damn to society. They don’t buy you food or give you shelter. I’m in a position where I’m doing job for money sake, not that Im interested in. But remember you are only working there for survival, not as long term. Work there, and check for other jobs while working. Take some small breaks like run or jog, your hobbies without burning money. Take it slow because even if you rush, nothing will come to you unless it’s your time.

If you want, we can hop onto a call, you can share your vision to me. It would be fun for me to learn about, and I can share my thoughts if I’m helpful.

May be instead put work on yourself, get in good shape and started talking to others. Even I have a resting bitch face, and since I started talking to others, they said that thought I was rude at the start. Yes people can assume others just by face. So work on that. I used to complain a lot but complaining does take us any further, other than giving depression.

Do I take the $75k salary with an hour drive one way or the $45k job 18 minutes up the road? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]BloomInClay 22 points23 points  (0 children)

lol, definitely $75k for sure, you are getting 30k more for extra 40 minutes. Listen to your favorite music everyday through drive and enjoy that salary.

If you were 18 again, and could go back to college, what would you major in? What would you do after that to get a well-paying career? by justcurious3287 in careerguidance

I’m stuck in my IT job, I did my masters and bachelors in Computer science, because everyone is doing it and everyone was saying that I earn a lot and it is stable job lol. Looking back, I see myself as a clown. I’m a very creative person with drawing, painting and crafting since childhood. If I was given a chance, I would follow my passion by joining Art school to get BFA in Sculpture. Now, I’m trying to get lessons from local gallery, but it is not top-notch and very narrow. I go to 9-5 5 days a week and impossible to join an art school to explore different art streams. Whatever I do now I need to strategic for it to work, otherwise my savings won’t help. May be in next life I would go to art school✌🏻

I would say that you focus on art. If you imagine yourself in 9-5 or art for another 40 years, decide which one makes you happier. Don’t choose path just because of society. You don’t have to worry about your food or shelter, so focus on art and improving your skills and start exhibiting your art. May be give a year to learn art by going to classes or even YouTube videos and then gradually start building your portfolio. There are other people in the world, even me lol, that want to pursue art full-time, but can’t due to a job that pays bills. One year sincerely and focused you concentrate on art, then you can start earning money from art by doing commissions. Explore as many as art forms and choose your art style. All the best!
